Which iPad models support eSIM?

The new iPad Pro (M4) and iPad Air (M2) models support eSIM for cellular activation and do not have a physical SIM tray.

Will StarHub be offering an eSIM plan for the new iPad?

Yes, you can get an eSIM with the new SIM only 5G Star Plan. It is currently available on StarHub app.

What is an eSIM?

An eSIM, or embedded-SIM, is a digital SIM card embedded directly into your device, enabling it to connect to our mobile network for data, calls and SMS, without a physical SIM card.

Who is eligible to get an eSIM?

You can choose eSIM when you sign up for our contract-free SIM only 5G Star Plan. If you currently have a 2-year/SIM Only plan with us, you can switch your plan to Star Plan and request for an eSIM.

How to install eSIM on my device?

After completing your order for a Star Plan eSIM, you will automatically receive an email from us with the eSIM QR code and installation details. Follow the 3 easy steps to install your eSIM to enjoy your new Star Plan.

How do I activate my Star Plan eSIM?

You will be prompted to activate your Star Plan eSIM on the StarHub app, after you have successfully completed the order and payment. To activate eSIM, please click here.

What should I do if I fail to install the eSIM?

If you're unable to install your eSIM, please check the following:

1) Your device is eSIM-compatible.

2) Your device has stable internet connection via cellular or WiFi network.

3) You have successfully activated the eSIM.

4) You have not previously installed the same eSIM on another device.
