Monthly Equipment Instalment Payment Plan
EasyGo lets you enjoy extra savings on the device of your choice with SIM Only plans and pay for in monthly instalments over 12 or 24 months. Apart from owning a new device with $0 upfront payment, you will also enjoy 0% interest on your monthly instalments!
Plus, if you are an existing StarHub mobile customer, you can use your loyalty voucher to offset the payment of the device of your choice at point of recontract to a SIM Only plan with EasyGo.
We know you are excited about EasyGo! It is currently applicable with our SIM Only no contract or 1-year plans.
If you are on our Mobile+ 2-year plans, fret not! You can also pay for the device of your choice with monthly instalments over 6, 12 or 24 months. Simply purchase it with your DBS or POSB credit card at selected StarHub Shops, with a minimum spend of $300. Find out more here.
All new and existing StarHub customers who are signing up for our SIM Only no contract or 1-year plans can enjoy EasyGo, subjected to eligibility. If you are a new mobile customer, you will be required to provide your past 3 months of mobile bills in hardcopy for verification at StarHub Shops.
EasyGo is currently applicable with our SIM Only plans. If you are on our SIM Only no contract or 1-year plan, you can simply recontract your mobile line with EasyGo. However, if you are on our Mobile+ 2-year plans, you will not be eligible for EasyGo while still in contract.
Absolutely. You will be able to purchase another device with a SIM Only plan, up to a maximum of 6 lines, subject to eligibility.
Unfortunately, your SIM Only plan with EasyGo will not be transferrable. We recommend that you hold on to your plan until your instalment period is over. If you still prefer to transfer your mobile service, simply pay off the remaining instalments on your device. Any discount on your device or from your loyalty voucher will be removed for the remaining months.
Example: You have signed up for a SIM Only 1-year plan and purchased a new device with EasyGo. The device’s recommended retail price (RRP) is $1,000, and you use your loyalty voucher of $100 to offset its upfront payment. As the discount will be spread equally over your instalment period, you will pay a monthly instalment of $75, breakdown below:
$100 ÷ 12 months = $8.30
$900 ÷ 12 months = $75
If you choose to cancel your SIM Only 1-year plan at the 10th month, the discount from your loyalty voucher will be removed for the remaining 2 months. You will have to pay $166.60 in full, breakdown below:
|$75 x 2 months = $150|
|Loyalty voucher ($8.30/month)||$8.30 x 2 months = $16.60|
Please note that your EasyGo instalments will continue to be billed monthly even if your mobile service has been suspended. Simply pay off your outstanding bill to restore your service while the remaining instalments on your device proceed as scheduled.
Absolutely, you are in full control and can choose to cancel your SIM Only plan anytime you want. Simply pay off the remaining instalments on your device, and any discount on your device or from your loyalty voucher will be removed for the remaining months.
If you are on a SIM Only 1-year plan, we recommend that you wait for your contract to be over or an early termination fee will apply.
Definitely! You can use your loyalty voucher at point of recontract or trade in your existing device at point of sign-up or recontract to offset the payment of the device of your choice. Do note that these discounts will be spread equally over your instalment period.
Unfortunately, your recontract voucher is only eligible when you recontract to a Mobile+ 2-year plan. But not to worry! If you are an existing mobile customer, you are also entitled to a loyalty voucher when you sign up for SIM Only plans with EasyGo, and you can use that to offset the upfront payment of the device of your choice.

Sorry, you will have to make full upfront payment for your accessories as they are not eligible for EasyGo.
Monthly Equipment Instalment (MEI)
Monthly Equipment Installment is a payment plan which allows selected StarHub customers to spread the payments of the eligible devices over a period in equal installment amount charged to your monthly StarHub bill.
Yes. Customer can purchase selected mobile devices and/or Smartwatches on Monthly Equipment Installment plan at point of signup.
Yes. Monthly Equipment Instalment plan is available for all 2-year and SIM Only mobile plans.
This plan is available to selected new and existing StarHub customers. New StarHub customers will be required to provide past 3 months of mobile bills in hardcopy for verification. StarHub reserves the right to determine a customer’s eligibility to participate in the Monthly Equipment Instalment payment at point of sign up.
The number of Monthly Equipment Instalment plan a customer can sign up for may vary as it is subjected to each customer’s eligibility. Please visit our online store (starhub.com/store), login via your Hub iD and select the instalment plan option. You will be able to complete the transaction if you are eligible to sign up for another Monthly Equipment Instalment plan.
Instalment payment plan is non-transferable. The remaining instalment amount will be billed in full under the current subscriber upon the transfer of the service.
The instalment will continue to be billed monthly. You will have to settle all outstanding instalments that were billed previously, and other outstanding charges, before the service can be restored.
No. The take-up of instalment plan for mobile phone and/or smartwatches can only be done at point of sign up or recontract of existing service, subject to eligibility.
No, you will need to pay the full monthly instalment price at point of sign up as the offer is mutually exclusive.
We offer different payment options to suit the needs of different customers. There is a higher handset discount for customers who prefer to pay an upfront amount. Customers can also choose to pay for their preferred handset with affordable monthly payments over a period of 12 or 24 months.
SmartSupport is applicable to selected mobile phones and tablets.
Business Account holder is not applicable for this payment plan as this is only applicable to eligible customers (including CIS) on all 2-year plans and SIM Only plans.
