1. What is the 600MB with Amazon Prime (4-week) data plan?

It’s our new data add-on service offering Prepaid customers an Amazon Prime membership plus 600MB local data for use over 4 weeks.

 

2. How do I buy the 600MB with Amazon Prime (4-week) plan?

It’s easy! You can activate it anytime, anywhere via the StarHub Prepaid App.

 

3. What is the validity period of StarHub Prepaid Amazon Prime Plan?

Our 600MB with Amazon Prime is a 4-week plan, valid for 28 days from date of activation.

 

4. Can I use the 600MB data overseas?

This 600MB data is for local use only.

For overseas data, roam with peace of mind at Singapore data rates with any of our WOW Data Plans. You can use it in 17 supported destinations including travel hotspots like Japan, Australia, Hong Kong and Taiwan!

 

5. How do I check my 600MB data balance and expiry date?

You can do it anytime, anywhere via your StarHub Prepaid App.

 

6. What happens after my 600MB data balance is used up during the 4-week period?

Not to worry, you will still be able to enjoy the Amazon Prime membership benefits throughout the 4-week period! However, do note that any extra data use will be charged at a “pay-per-use” rate of 4₵ per 10KB. The charges will be deducted from your available balance.

Alternatively, you can add on a WOW Data Plan that suits your surfing needs, via the StarHub Prepaid App!

 

7. Will there be any refund if I decide to cancel my Amazon Prime membership?

Unfortunately, there will be no refund but you can still enjoy the 600MB local data for 4 weeks.

 

8. What happens after 4 weeks of my Amazon Prime data plan?

Your Amazon Prime membership will cease and any unused data will be forfeited after 4 weeks.  

To enjoy uninterrupted access, simply activate another 600MB with Amazon Prime (4-week) data plan before it expires. You can check the expiry and activate another plan easily via the StarHub Prepaid App!

 

9. I have an existing Amazon Prime membership with Amazon SG. Can I purchase the 600MB with Amazon Prime (4-week) plan and transfer the offer to my existing account?

If you are already an Amazon Prime member, you can activate the offer through StarHub, once your membership has ended with Amazon.

To know more about your existing membership details, please visit the “Manage Prime membership page’ within the Amazon Shopping App.

 

10. Do I sign up for the Amazon account with my mobile number or email address?

It’s up to you! You can sign up using either your mobile number or email address. However, we recommend signing up with your email address as you may not be able to log into your Amazon account with your mobile number should you choose to terminate the line in future.

 

11. Can I activate my Amazon Prime membership anytime throughout the 4-week (28 days) period?

Yes, you can! Amazon Prime membership is valid for 28 days from date of activation of your 600MB with Amazon Prime data plan. Do activate your membership instantly to maximise the full range of benefits! 

 

12. My mobile number is suspended. What will happen to my Amazon Prime membership?  

You will still be able to enjoy the benefits of Amazon Prime membership for 4 weeks!

Example: You activated the plan on 1 February. Your mobile number is suspended on 5 February. You can continue to access your Amazon Prime membership until 28 February.

However, the balance data of 600MB will be suspended with all other StarHub Mobile Prepaid services.

 

13. My mobile number is terminated. What will happen to my Amazon Prime membership?

You will still be able to enjoy the benefits of your Amazon Prime membership for 4 weeks!

Example: You activated your plan on 1 February. Your mobile number is terminated on 5 February. You can continue to access Amazon Prime membership till 28 February.

However, the balance data of 600MB will be terminated with all other StarHub Mobile Prepaid services.

15. What is the cost of the Amazon Prime membership?

It’s S$2.99/month. 

 

16. How will I know that my Amazon Prime membership status is active?

You will receive a confirmation email from Amazon that you are an Amazon Prime member, and see a successful activation status for your membership through StarHub. Do note that any mobile data used while downloading the apps or using Amazon.sg, Prime Now, Prime Video and Twitch Prime will be deducted from your data allowance bundle.

 

17. Which mobile apps should I download to enjoy my Amazon Prime membership benefits on the go?

Amazon Shopping, Prime Now, Prime Video and Twitch Prime. 

 

18. When can I start enjoying my Amazon Prime membership benefits?

Once you have successfully activated your account, you can start enjoying the full range of Amazon Prime membership benefits!  

 

19. Can I use my Amazon Prime membership outside of Singapore?

Yes, of course! You will be able to stream or download content on Prime Video and Twitch Prime wherever you are. For shopping/delivery, do note that it's only applicable for local addresses. 

 

20. I have forgotten my Amazon account login details. How can I access my account again? 

Reset your account in 3 simple steps:

  • Go to Amazon.sg and click "Sign In". 
  • Expand "Need help?" and click "Forgot your password?". 
  • Key in your email address or mobile number, and you will receive a security code to reset your password.
