Postpaid Mobile Transfer of Ownership
The registered owner of the mobile postpaid account is deceased/in prison. Can their number be transferred to a new owner?
Please visit any of our StarHub Shops located at Paragon, Tampines Mall, NEX and Jurong Point and bring the following documents with you when you request for transfer of ownership:
- Transferee’s Document ID
- Deceased – Death certificate
- Imprisoned – Official notification from prisons
Note: Transfer of ownership is currently not available for our contract-free 5G plans.
Is there a timeline for mobile ownership transfer involving a deceased subscriber?
Yes, the transfer of ownership must be completed within 90 days from the date when the subscriber passed away and the mobile service must be active.
