How do I activate my Star Plan SIM card?

When you receive your SIM card, look for the QR code on the sleeve and scan it to get started. Do follow the on-screen instructions for the SIM card activation.

You'll receive a notification on the StarHub app upon successful SIM activation.

I encountered an error during the SIM card activation process/I can't activate my SIM card. What should I do?

Do follow the on-screen instructions for the SIM card activation.

1. Select "Mobile" on your homepage.

2. Select the mobile line you would like to activate your SIM.

3. Select "Activate Now" on your mobile line details to activate your SIM card.

Is there a deadline for activating my SIM card?

You have to activate your Star Plan SIM card within 14 days of delivery or 30 days of order submission.

What happens if I don't activate my SIM card within the specified date?

Your Star Plan order will be cancelled if you're unable to activate your SIM card within 14 days of delivery or 30 days of order submission. Once your order is cancelled, you will no longer be able to activate your SIM card or use your Star Plan. There will also be no refunds because your order is considered successful.

I ported a non-StarHub mobile number to Star Plan. Will my new SIM card be automatically activated or do I need to activate it myself?

You'll need to activate the SIM card on the StarHub app.

I purchased a Star Plan SIM card at a dealer shop. Will the SIM card be activated already or do I need to activate it myself?

You just need to complete the ID verification on the StarHub app. Upon successful verification, you can start using your new SIM card.
