How do I redeem this promotion?

Enjoy 12 months of HBO Max Standard on us when you sign up during the campaign period from 24 January to 3 March 2026.

  • New customers simply need to sign up for two eligible services on the same day to qualify for the redemption.
  • Existing customers can also enjoy this offer by signing up for one new eligible connectivity service, and recontracting or upgrading their existing connectivity service on the same day within the campaign period.
  • Once the eligibility criteria are met, you’ll be able to redeem 12 months of HBO Max Standard at no additional charge - more entertainment, on us.

Who is eligible for this promotion?

This promotion is open to both existing customers and new customers who complete two qualifying service transactions on the same day within the campaign period.

What services are eligible under this promotion?

Eligible services include:

  • Mobile services including 5G Unlimited+ Plans (5G Unlimited+ Core, 5G Unlimited+ Plus, 5G Unlimited+ Max, 5G Platinum and 5G Platinum Elite).
    5G Lite, 5G Senior and Data Only plans are not eligible.
  • Home Broadband services including UltraSpeed 3Gbps, UltraSpeed 5Gbps, UltraSpeed 10Gbps broadband plans
  • Home Broadband & entertainment bundles including HomeHub+ 5Gbps and HomeHub+ UltraSpeed 10Gbps plans

Do I need to sign up for 2 services to qualify for this redemption?

New customers will need to sign up for two eligible connectivity services on the same day to qualify for the redemption. Existing customers can also enjoy this offer by signing up for one new eligible connectivity service, and recontracting or upgrading their existing connectivity service on the same day within the campaign period.

Must both transactions be completed on the same day?

Yes. Both qualifying transactions must be completed on the same calendar day to be eligible for the promotion.

Where can I sign up for this promotion?

You will be able to enjoy this promotion by signing up for our services at any of these three channels:

When will I receive the HBO Max Standard redemption code?

Your unique HBO Max Standard redemption code will be emailed to your email address that was used to register your Hub ID, approximately 30 working days after date of transaction.

Is there an expiry date for me to redeem my HBO Max Standard subscription?

You will need to redeem your HBO Max Standard subscription with your unique code by 30 April 2026.  Any unused code after this date will expire and cannot be reinstated.

How do I redeem the HBO Max Standard subscription with my redemption code?

You can use your unique redemption code to redeem 12 months of HBO Max Standard on HBO Max's website. Detailed redemption instructions will be provided in the email to your email address that was used to register your Hub ID, together with the unique redemption code.

What do I do if I have not received my redemption email?

Do make sure to check that your email address is the address that was used to register your Hub ID.

If you have not received the redemption email after 30 working days, you may reach out to our StarHub Customer Service at 1633 or WhatsApp us.

What if my current service already includes HBO Max Standard (e.g. HomeHub+ Max Plan)?

If your current service already comes with HBO Max, it won’t be replaced or extended by this promotion.

You’ll still receive a 12-month HBO Max Standard redemption code as long as the eligibility requirements are met.

Is the HBO Max Standard redemption code transferable if I do not need the HBO Max Standard subscription?

Yes. If you choose not to redeem the HBO Max Standard subscription with your redemption code, you may choose to pass it to friends or family, provided the unique redemption code has not been utilised and is still valid.

Can the redemption code be exchanged for cash, rebates, or other content?

No. The redemption code is not exchangeable for cash, bill rebates, in-kind items, or other content packs.

What happens if I cancel or terminate a service after signing up?

If any qualifying service is cancelled, terminated, or suspended before fulfilment, StarHub reserves the right to withdraw or invalidate the promotion.

Can this promotion be combined with other offers?

This promotion may not be combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated. Please feel free to check with our Sales Advisor in stores for final eligibility.

If I'm an existing mobile customer, will I qualify for this promotion by signing up for a new Home Broadband plan?

Existing mobile customers can enjoy this offer by signing up for one new eligible connectivity service, and recontracting or upgrading their existing connectivity service on the same day within the campaign period.

Once the eligibility criteria are met, you’ll be able to redeem 12 months of HBO Max Standard at no additional charge - more entertainment, on us.

Can an existing broadband customer qualify by signing up for a new 5G Unlimited+ mobile plan?

Existing broadband customers can enjoy this offer by signing up for one new eligible connectivity service, and recontracting or upgrading their existing connectivity service on the same day within the campaign period.

Once the eligibility criteria are met, you’ll be able to redeem 12 months of HBO Max Standard at no additional charge - more entertainment, on us.

If I port in my mobile number to a StarHub mobile plan, will it count as a eligible service transaction?

Yes. Porting into an 5G Unlimited+ Plan (Core and above) will be considered as a eligible service transaction.

If my two services are under different account holders, will I be eligible to redeem this promotion?

No. Both qualifying transactions must be performed under the same account holder, as determined at point of purchase.

Will I be eligible for this promotion if I complete one transaction online and the other transaction at a StarHub store? 

Yes, as long as both transactions are for eligible services and are completed within the same calendar day.

Is there a limit to how many HBO Max Standard redemption codes a customer can receive?

Eligible customers can only receive one HBO Max Standard redemption code per NRIC, even if multiple qualifying services are signed up.

What happens if there is a system delay in provisioning one of the services?

Eligibility is determined by the transaction date, not the service activation date. As long as the campaign criteria are met at the point of sign-up, you will be eligible to redeem the HBO Max Standard redemption code.

Can the HBO Max Standard redemption code be reissued if I have deleted or lost my email before redemption?

Each redemption code is issued on a one-time basis. To ensure a smooth redemption experience, please retain the redemption email from StarHub until redemption is completed.

What happens to my HBO Max subscription after 12 months?

After your 12 months complimentary HBO Max Standard access has ended, the subscription will expire automatically.

I have a mobile CIS plan, do I qualify for this promotion?

Yes, customers with CIS mobile plans are eligible for this promotion.

Is the promotion available while stocks last?

Yes. The promotion is subject to availability and may be withdrawn once the allocated redemption codes are fully utilised, so we encourage customers to sign up early.

Does switching to different 5G mobile plans be considered eligible for the promotion?

Customers will need to move from our older mobile plans such as 2-year contract mobile plans, SIM Only, or Star Plan to a 5G Unlimited+ Plan (Core and above) to be eligible for the promotion.

What are the steps to redeem the HBO Max Standard subscription?

Step1: You may redeem your subscription via this redemption link: https://auth.hbomax.com/redeem

Step 2: Key in your unique redemption code. You will then be directed to a page with more details of the offer as well of terms and conditions. 

Step 3: Upon reviewing and agreeing to the terms of subscription, you will continue on to account creation. 

Step 4: Once you have successfully completed account creation, you will be directed to a confirmation screen with more information on your account and plan. 

Step 5 : Click on 'Start Streaming' and you're all set!

How would I know that I have qualified for the Free 12 months HBO Max Standard promotion?

All customers who have qualified for the promotion will be notified via email within 5 working days from the date of transaction.
