Star Plan M and Star Plan L now come with more complimentary data roaming included. Get 1GB data roaming to 5 destinations when you sign up or port-in to Star Plan M or 5GB data roaming to 5 destinations when you port-in or sign-up for Star Plan L, allowing you to roam to the following  5 destinations: Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan and South Korea.

How long is the additional roaming data valid for?

The roaming data that comes with Star Plan will be valid perpetually as long as you stay with Star Plan M or L.

Where can I sign up for this plan?  

Star Plan is our all-digital, no contract plan. You can sign up digitally here or via our StarHub app to enjoy this offer for a limited-time only!

I am currently on StarHub’s SIM Only plan. Can I sign up to this plan? 

You can enjoy the benefits in this plan by opting to switch your SIM Only Plan to Star Plan M or Star Plan L. However, do note that once you have switched to Star Plan, you will not be able to transfer the same number back to your previous SIM Only Plan.  You can switch to Star Plan via the StarHub app. For more info on switching plans, please refer to this FAQ.

I am an existing Star Plan subscriber. How can I enjoy the new benefits of Star Plan? 

You can enjoy these new benefits by initiating a plan change. Your new entitlements will take effect on the next renewal date. For more details on how to change your plans, please refer to this FAQ.

I am an existing SIM Only subscriber on Corporate Individual Scheme (CIS). Can I sign up to this plan?

You can enjoy the benefits in this plan by opting to switch your SIM Only Plan on Corporate Individual Scheme (CIS) to Star Plan M or Star Plan L. However, do note that once you have switched to Star Plan, you will not be able to transfer the same number back to your previous SIM Only plan.  You can switch to Star Plan via the StarHub app. Do remember to enter your company access code under promo code field to enjoy your corporate benefits (if applicable). I'm currently enjoying an existing sign-up/recontract offer on my mobile line. Will my current offers and entitlements be transferred over if I switch to Star Plan or change my plan?

No, the promotional entitlements you're currently enjoying will not be transferred to your new plan, once you initiate a change of plan or a transfer to Star Plan.

Which are the supported roaming partners for the bundled roaming data? 

Please refer to this list for our supported roaming partners when you roam to the 5 destinations included for Star Plan M and Star Plan L. For a seamless roaming experience, make sure that you are on the following networks!

How do I ensure that I am successfully connected to the supported network on my mobile device when roaming?  

You can simply check the network bar to see which network you are connected to. To manually select your network when you roam, please go to the Settings > Network Selection / Mobile Network in your mobile device to select a supported network. The steps may differ for each operating system and device manufacturer. For additional support, do check with your mobile device manufacturer for precise instructions for manually selecting a network to connect.
