Sign up for Recurring GIRO (DBS, OCBC, UOB, etc.) or Recurring Credit/Debit Card (American Express, Mastercard, Visa) and your payment will be automatically deducted on your monthly bill due date, hassle-free!

NOTE:

How do I sign up for Recurring GIRO via the StarHub app?
- Log in with your Hub ID.
- Select "Pay" from the bottom menu and tap on the desired billing account.
- Choose the StarHub billing account number (e.g., 1.12345678S).
- Scroll down to the "Payment" section and tap the "Set up a recurring payment" bar.
- Choose "GIRO" and follow the on-screen instructions.
How do I apply for Recurring GIRO via the StarHub eGIRO service?
Simply visit our eGIRO page to sign up for a Recurring GIRO payment for your StarHub billing Account No (example: 1.12345678S). Complete the webform and click proceed to submit your application. You may also set up a recurring payment via the StarHub app.
Kindly note that a successful GIRO set up will only be effective from the next billing cycle. You may wish to make payment via one-time payment for the current bill cycle.
How do I sign up for Recurring GIRO on the desktop via My Account?
- Log in with your Hub ID.
- Go to "My Bills." Scroll down and click on "Sign up for Recurring Bill Payment."
- Choose "Apply for GIRO," click "Next," and follow the on-screen instructions.
Your billing account reference is your StarHub Account No. (example: 1.12345678S).
If I'm a DBS/POSB or OCBC customer, how do I apply for GIRO?
Customers from both banks can apply for GIRO simply using the StarHub app, or the StarHub eGIRO portal.
Alternatively, for DBS/POSB customers, you may apply for GIRO through via ATM or AXS machine. Your billing account reference is your StarHub Account No. (example: 1.12345678S).

For OCBC customers, you may apply for GIRO through ibanking. Your billing account reference is StarHub

How do I apply for GIRO at an AXS Station?
Application via an AXS Station is only applicable for DBS/POSB customers.
Apply in person with your DBS/POSB ATM card and PIN by selecting "Finance," followed by "DBS," then "Services," and finally "Apply for GIRO." Your billing account reference is your StarHub Account No. (example: 1.12345678S).
It may take up to five business days for the electronic set-up to be processed.
How do I apply for GIRO at a StarHub shop?
You can apply at our main StarHub shops in person with your DBS/POSB ATM card and PIN. It may take up to five business days for the electronic set-up to be processed.
How do I apply using the StarHub GIRO Payment Form?
Due to the long processing time, it is recommended to sign up for GIRO via the StarHub eGIRO portal if your bank participates in the eGIRO program and ABS link for "eGIRO program".
- Download the StarHub Recurring GIRO Payment Application Form (PDF).
- Tick the appropriate boxes, complete Part (1) and (2) of the form with your details and your Postpaid account's “Payment Code.”
- Print, sign, and mail it using the postage-paid mailer included with the form. It may take four to six weeks for the manual form to be processed. We recommend applying online or at a StarHub shop for a quicker GIRO setup.
NOTE:
- Do note that only original signed GIRO application forms are accepted by the bank for GIRO application. Please mail the original GIRO form to our office address listed below and allow 4 to 6 weeks for the bank to process the application. The approval of GIRO application using StarHub GIRO Application Form is subject to your bank’s discretion.

What if I have an existing recurring credit card set up already, then set up a new GIRO arrangement?
The approval of this GIRO application will supersede any existing payment instructions for the nominated StarHub account(s). This authorisation will take effect from your next StarHub billing cycle.
How will I be notified when my GIRO application is approved?
A system-generated letter of notification will be sent upon approval. The StarHub account holder will see the following message on the subsequent StarHub bill once the GIRO arrangement is in effect: “Thank you for paying by GIRO via <Bank Name> account ending in XXX.”
Do I need to continue manual payments once GIRO is active?
Once the recurring deduction message appears, you will no longer need to make manual payments, as the total outstanding balance amount will be deducted directly from your bank account each month.
Kindly note that the successful GIRO set up will only be effective from the next billing cycle. You may wish to make payment via one-time payment for the current bill cycle.
What happens if a recurring GIRO payment is rejected on the due date?
If a recurring payment is rejected on your StarHub bill due date, a system-generated notification letter will be sent to you to inform you that the payment failed. You may wish to make payment via one-time payment for the outstanding balance as failing to pay could result in service disruption.
Your GIRO setup will still remain active, with an auto-deduction attempt in the subsequent billing cycle.
In general, the GIRO arrangement will be automatically terminated if the deduction is unsuccessful with the same GIRO payment rejection reason from your bank for three consecutive billing cycles.
How do I terminate my GIRO arrangement?
To terminate a GIRO arrangement, please complete and return the StarHub Recurring GIRO Payment Termination Form to StarHub using the postage-paid mailer included with the form.
Termination will be processed within three working days upon receipt and will take effect on the next billing cycle.
