Changes to Sports channels FAQs
Launch of beIN SPORTS MAX HD and beIN SPORTS MAX 2 HD
beIN SPORTS MAX HD is a 24/7 channel focusing on “live” and repeat programmes from the UEFA Champions League and Europa League. beIN SPORTS MAX 2 HD will be activated, as and when necessary, to carry matches that are playing concurrently. Both channels are dedicated to concurrent UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League matches.
The two new beIN SPORTS MAX channels will be launched on at 12pm on 1 December 2018.
There will be no free preview for these channels.
The two new beIN SPORTS MAX channels will be available on StarHub TV and StarHub Go.
StarHub TV customers will require a HD-enabled set top box to view these channels. These channels are not available in SD.
For information on the schedules, please refer to the programme guide via your set-top box or LIVE TV section on StarHub Go.
For existing StarHub TV customers with a HD enabled set-top box, simply tune in Ch 202 and press the blue button on your remote to subscribe to Sports Group at $21.40/month instantly.
For existing StarHub TV customers with non-HD enabled set-top boxes, you must first swap your box at any StarHub shop (including Platinum Shops and Exclusive Partners) before subscribing to the Sports Group following the steps above.
For non-StarHub TV customers, you can subscribe to Go Sports at $9.90/month on StarHub Go.
The two new beIN SPORTS MAX channels are only available in our premium sports package, StarHub TV Sports Group. To enjoy these two new channels, you may subscribe to StarHub TV Sports Group at $21.40/month.
Renaming of Hub Sports 4 (HD)
We are consolidating our Sports content offerings so that we can continue providing content at affordable prices amidst a time of escalating content costs. With this objective, the original Hub Sports 3 (HD), which is mainly used as a spillover channel, will be ceased. We will then rename the existing Hub Sports 4 (HD) to Hub Sports 3 (HD) to align our channel branding.
There will be no change to the channel number.
Hub Sports 4 (HD) (Ch 204) will be renamed to Hub Sports 3 (HD) with effect from 12pm on 13 December 2018.
No. All current content programming on Hub Sports 4 (HD) (Ch 204), such as the European and Asian Tours, will remain unchanged.

No. There is no price change to your subscription.
The renaming exercise is meant for current subscribers of Ch 204 and is only applicable to customer who are currently subscribed to this channel.
