Amazon Prime Promotions

  1. General
    1. StarHub may run promotions for StarHub TV, StarHub Post-Paid Mobile, StarHub Broadband and/or HomeHub Services from time to time on terms and conditions to be prescribed by StarHub and under the terms below, StarHub is currently offering subscription to Amazon Prime membership subject to eligibility criteria and additional terms as may be advised by Amazon (“Promotion”).
    2. The terms and conditions for the Promotion are set out below (“Promotion Terms & Conditions”).
    3. In addition to these Promotion Terms & Conditions, the StarHub Service that you have subscribed for is subject to StarHub's Consumer General Terms & Conditions, Service Specific Terms & Conditions for StarHub TV Services, StarHub Post-Paid Mobile Services, StarHub Broadband Services, HomeHub, fair usage policies (as applicable) and any further terms and conditions that we may have agreed to from time to time. You may view our terms and conditions at http://www.starhub.com.
    4. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between any provision of these Promotion Terms & Conditions, the Consumer General Terms & Conditions and Service Specific Terms & Conditions, the documents shall be construed in the following descending order of precedence:
      1. Promotion Terms & Conditions;
      2. Service Specific Terms & Conditions for StarHub TV Services, StarHub Post-Paid Mobile Services, StarHub Broadband Services, HomeHub, fair usage policies (as applicable); and
      3. Consumer General Terms & Conditions.
    5. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to the disclosure of your personal data in the manner set out in these Promotion Terms & Conditions and/or any other terms and conditions as may be advised by Amazon. Once your Amazon Prime membership is activated, your use of Amazon services and the Amazon apps, including the features and functionality contained therein, will be subject to the Amazon Conditions of Use and Privacy Notice. If there is a conflict between the terms of Amazon Conditions of Use relating to the Promotion, and these terms, these terms will prevail. If and to the extent that the terms of Amazon Conditions of Use conflict with these terms relating to the use of Amazon Prime membership, Amazon Conditions of Use shall prevail.

  2. Amazon Prime Membership
    1. The Amazon Prime membership is a paid service with a usual retail price of $4.99 per month. The retail price of the Amazon Prime membership may  change at the sole discretion of Amazon.
    2. An Amazon Prime membership allows you to enjoy fast, free delivery, exclusive early access to select deals, popular movies, TV series, and award winning Amazon Originals as well as free games every month which may be updated by Amazon from time to time.
    3. Amazon Prime is provided solely by Amazon. You will enter into a separate contract with Amazon directly for your Amazon Prime membership. You must review and accept the Amazon Prime terms and conditions as set out on Amazon’s website. To learn more about Amazon Prime, please visit Amazon’s website. We do not own or operate Amazon Prime and are not responsible for it. If you are already an Amazon Prime member, you can activate the promotional offer through StarHub once your membership has ended with Amazon (within the 30-day period described below).
    4. Prevailing data charges apply for streaming Amazon Prime Video content through StarHub Post-Paid Mobile Services and you agree that it is subject to reasonable use and our fair usage policy.
  3. Home Services: 12 months Amazon Prime membership on us
    1. Description of Service: Unless otherwise notified by us, this Promotion is valid till further notice. This is a value-added promotional Service that provides you with 12 months’ Amazon Prime membership on us if you sign up to the service at a monthly charge of S$4.99, which will only be payable from the 13th month onwards.
    2. Eligibility and availability: The Service is applicable to selected re-contract customers who sign up for the following home services: HomeHub+ UltraSpeed 5Gbps or HomeHub+ UltraSpeed 10Gbps plans on a 24-month contract. Your Amazon Prime membership promotion is active only after completing the sign-up process on Amazon Webpage via the StarHub App within 30 days of receiving the SMS and/or email notification from StarHub.  As part of the activation process, customers are required to create an Amazon account with a valid email address or mobile number and password when redirected to the Amazon website.
    3. Billing and payment: We will bill you after the 12 months promotional period is over and the bill will not follow your StarHub service billing cycle. We will bill you for the Service based on your Amazon Prime membership billing cycle as determined by Amazon. For example, if your StarHub TV+ Pass bill cycle is on the 12th of every calendar month and you activated your Amazon Prime membership on 15th July 2025, you will be charged for your Amazon Prime membership of S$4.99 on 15th July 2026 (after 12 months). If you were to terminate your Amazon Prime membership on 18th July 2026, your Amazon Prime membership charge from 19th July to 14th August 2026 will be refunded to you.
  4. Add-On
    1. Description of Service: The Amazon Prime membership is available as an add-on Service at the prevailing monthly recurring charges (“Amazon Prime Add-On”). 
    2. Eligibility and availability: The Service is applicable to eligible StarHub post-paid customers who are not on any Amazon Prime Promotion, whose accounts are in good standing (not blacklisted or without outstanding balances). Your Amazon Prime Add-On is active only after completing the sign-up process on Amazon Webpage via the StarHub App. As part of the activation process, customers are required to create an Amazon account with a valid email address or mobile number and password when redirected to the Amazon website.
    3. Billing and payment: We will bill you for the Service based on your Amazon Prime Add-On billing cycle as determined by Amazon. For example, if you activated your Amazon Prime membership on 15th July 2025, you will be charged for your Amazon Prime membership of S$4.99 on 15th July 2025 and it will not follow your StarHub service billing cycle. If you were to terminate your Amazon Prime membership on 18th August 2025, your Amazon Prime membership charge from 19th August to 14th September 2025 will be refunded to you.
  5. Modification, Suspension and Termination
    1. Termination of StarHub Service: If your StarHub Service is terminated for any reason whatsoever, the Service will be immediately and automatically terminated. Your remaining months of Amazon Prime membership on us (if any) will also be terminated without further notice.
    2. Transfer of Ownership of StarHub Service: If your StarHub Service is transferred to another subscriber, the Service will be immediately and automatically terminated. Your remaining months of Amazon Prime membership on us (if any) will also be terminated without further notice.
    3. Suspension of StarHub Service: If your StarHub Service is suspended for any reason whatsoever, your Amazon Prime membership will be terminated without further notice and liability. Your remaining months of Amazon Prime membership on us (if any) will also be terminated without further notice and liability.
    4. Termination of Amazon Prime membership: If the Service is terminated, suspended for any reason whatsoever or the ownership of Service transferred to another subscriber, your Amazon Prime membership will be immediately and automatically terminated. Your remaining months of membership on us (if any) will also be terminated without further notice.
  6. Customer Support
    1. Please contact StarHub only for queries related to (i) availing the Promotion and/or the eligibility criteria for the Promotion; (ii) activation or deactivation of the Amazon Prime membership as part of the Promotion; (iii) general billing enquiries related to the Promotions or your account.
    2. For any queries, disputes or concerns on the Amazon services or apps, you agree to contact Amazon directly to address such queries, disputes or concerns.
  7. Additional Terms for the Promotions
    1. This Promotion is only available until such date as we may determine and may be rescinded at anytime.
    2. This Promotion cannot be used to offset existing subscription charges or outstanding balances due to StarHub.
    3. Any standalone subscription to the Amazon Prime membership cannot be substituted for the Promotion.
    4. This Promotion is non-exchangeable for cash or kind, is non-refundable and non-transferable.
    5. Unless we specify otherwise, this Promotion is not available with other discounts, promotions, special packages or external offers.
    6. StarHub reserves the right to suspend, terminate or change any of these terms and conditions and/or the Service (whether in whole or in part) at our sole and absolute discretion, at any time, without prior notice and without any liability. If you continue to use the Service, you will be deemed to have accepted such changes.
