    From now to 31 December 2012, if you pay for your StarHub post-paid mobile bills via GIRO or recurring credit card, you will enjoy 100 free outgoing SMS/MMS per month till 31 December 2012.
  2. How would the SMS be given to me?
    For every month until 31 December 2012, you will see an item 'Free 100 SMS' for your mobile services in your monthly bill if you are on GIRO or recurring credit card payment mode.
  3. Will I be able to carry forward any unused SMS to the following month?
    Sorry, any unused Free SMS cannot be carried forward to the next month.
  4. Will I be eligible for the 100 Free SMS/MMS, if I'm already paying my StarHub Post-paid Mobile by GIRO or credit card?
    Yes. You are eligible for the 100 Free SMS/MMS if you are already paying your StarHub Postpaid Mobile monthly bills by GIRO or recurring credit card.
  5. Will I be eligible for the 100 Free SMS/MMS Promotion, if I only make a one-time payment of my mobile bill with Credit Card?
    Sorry, as the promotion is applicable to customers who pay their bills using recurring credit card payment, customers who make a one-time payment will not be eligible to enjoy this promotion.
  6. After I have applied to pay my bills by GIRO or credit card, when will I start to enjoy the 100 Free SMS/MMS?
    You will be able to enjoy the 100 Free SMS/MMS within 3 working days upon approval of recurring credit card or GIRO payment.
  7. What happens if I have insufficient funds in my bank for monthly deduction?
    StarHub reserves the right to withdraw the 100 Free SMS/MMS promotion, if there are insufficient funds for deduction of payment for your monthly mobile bill.
  8. If I have 2 mobile phone lines under my account, will I receive the 100 Free SMS/MMS to each of my line?
    Yes. You will be entitlied the 100 Free SMS/MMS for each of your mobile phone line paid using recurring credit card or GIRO.
  9. Will I be able to receive the 100 Free SMS/MMS on my Shareplus plans?
    No, this 100 Free SMS/MMS promotion is not applicable to SharePlus plans.
  10. Will I be able to terminate my GIRO application if I had just applied for it?
    As the processing for GIRO takes up to four to six weeks, you may not be able to cancel the application if it is still being processed by the bank.
  11. If I am currently paying my monthly mobile bill by GIRO, how can I switch it to monthly payment by credit card?
    If you wish to change the mode of payment,
    • Please terminate your existing GIRO payment by notifying us in writing.
    • Complete and mail the payment instruction for the recurrent credit card payment in your bill stub.

    Please note that it would take approximately seven (7) working days to process and confirm the termination of your GIRO payment arrangement. To avoid paying twice via GIRO and the Credit Card, please send in the completed bill stub for the recurrent credit card payment only after the GIRO payment arrangement has been terminated.

Bill Payment by Recurring Payment via Credit Card

  1. If I am an existing StarHub Post-paid Mobile customer, how may I apply for monthly payment by credit card?
    All you need to do is complete and mail the payment instruction in your bill stub.
  2. If I am a new StarHub Postpaid Mobile customer, how may I sign up for monthly payment by credit card?
    If you are a new subscriber and you wish to sign up for recurring credit card payment, please complete the bill stub with your payment instruction when you receive your first bill.

Bill Payment by GIRO payment

  1. If I am a new StarHub Postpaid Mobile customer, how do I sign up for payment by GIRO?
    If you wish to pay your bills by GIRO, you may either
    • Download the Mobile GIRO Form;
    • Obtain a GIRO form from all StarHub shops and Customer Service Centres; or
    • Call our Billing Hotline at 1637 from 8am to 9pm, Mondays to Saturdays.
