1. What is the trade-in value guarantee about?
You can lock in up to 50% trade-in value for your Samsung Galaxy S26 Series when you purchase through StarHub and remain subscribed to SmartSupport from day 1.
You can choose to upgrade to:
- The next generation of Samsung Galaxy S Series anytime between the official launch date and 31 March 2027 to receive 50% or more of your device’s RRP*
- Any other mobile device before 31 March 2027 to receive 35% or more of your device’s RRP*
- Any mobile device from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2028 to receive 20% or more of your device’s RRP*

2. How do I lock in a guaranteed minimum trade-in value for my Samsung Galaxy S26 Series?

3. How do I know if my SmartSupport for Samsung Galaxy S26 Series includes the trade-in guarantee?
You can enjoy the minimum trade-in guarantee for your next Galaxy S Series upgrade only if you purchased the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series from StarHub and subscribed to SmartSupport from your date of purchase, on or before 31 March 2026.
4. My phone is damaged. Am I still eligible?
Yes, a non-good working condition fee applies if the device has:
- Discoloured, cracked or damaged body/glass
- Display issues (burn-in, bleeding, dead pixels)
- Impaired functionality
- Non-genuine parts or missing components
- A swollen battery
- Liquid damage or a bent/broken frame
- Fails to power on or charge
- Been subject to modification
- Damaged connectors or a faulty SIM reader
If your device falls under any of the above conditions, a non-good working condition fee of $280 will apply and offset against total trade-in value.
5. What if I cancel my SmartSupport subscription?
If SmartSupport is cancelled, your guaranteed trade-in value benefit will be terminated.
Please note that this feature cannot be reinstated once the SmartSupport subscription has been cancelled.
