What is Hubbing?

 

Hubbing is an additional savings that StarHub gives you for subscribing to multiple services and lines under the same Hub ID. You choose the services your family needs and the price drops as you add more eligible lines and services.


There are 3 ways to Hub: Mobile Multi-Line Discount
Broadband + Mobile and Broadband + Entertainment.

Hubbing is an exclusive in-store experience designed to get your family the best possible rates. You don't need to bring everyone along as long as one person has the right details, you can get the whole household set up in a single visit.
 

Quick Checklist Before You Visit

NRIC: Have your NRIC ready, plus the NRIC details of any family members whose lines you are bringing together.

Account Details: Keep your current telco info handy if anyone is switching over (porting) or recontracting.

Hub ID: Know your login or be ready to create one. To unlock the savings, all family lines just need to sit under the same Hub ID.

1 Find your perfect fit. Decide which mix of Mobile, Broadband, or Entertainment works for your home. If you're not sure, our HubCrew can look at your usage and suggest the best way to maximize your savings.
2 Pop into any StarHub shop. We'll confirm your eligibility and make sure all lines are grouped correctly. We'll even compare the Multi-Line Discount against any old plans to ensure you’re getting the better deal.
3 Wrap it up in one visit. Sign up for your chosen services together to activate your benefits. Once the lines are consolidated under your Hub ID, your discounts will kick in automatically on your next bill.

Frequently Asked Questions

 

Q Do all family members need to be on the same plan for the Multi-Line Discount?

No. Each family member can be on a different eligible plan: Core, Plus, Max, Platinum, or Platinum Elite. The discount applies per line based on how many eligible lines are under the same Hub ID, so each person's price drops at the same threshold regardless of which plan they are on.

Q Do all lines need to be under the same account?

Yes. All eligible lines must be under the same Hub ID. If your family's lines are on separate accounts, the discount will not apply until they are consolidated. The HubCrew at any StarHub shop will help you link them.

Q Can existing StarHub customers add family lines to qualify?

Yes. You do not need to be a new StarHub customer. For Broadband + Mobile and Broadband + Entertainment, at least one of the services must be a new subscription or recontract. The HubCrew will confirm your family's eligibility based on your current services.

Q What happens if one family member cancels their line?

If a line is cancelled, your remaining eligible lines drop to the next pricing tier. For example, if your family had 4 lines and one cancels, the remaining 3 lines move to the 15% discount tier. For Broadband + Mobile or Broadband + Entertainment, cancelling a service removes the Hubbing savings benefit and all remaining services revert to standard retail prices.

Q Is there a contract for the mobile plans?

Our 5G Unlimited+ Plans are contract-free. The broadband plan comes with a 24-month contract. Ending the broadband plan early will incur Early Termination Charges.

Q Do all services need to be signed up on the same day?

Yes. All services must be signed up in the same shop visit to qualify for the Hubbing price. You cannot sign up for broadband today and add a mobile plan later to receive the special pricing.
