5G+ is the next evolution of StarHub’s 5G network, designed to give you a better-connected experience in more places.

It builds on our existing 5G network by adding more spectrum, including low-band 700MHz, alongside our existing network frequencies. Together, these additional network capabilities deliver wider coverage, greater capacity and faster speeds.

One of the biggest differences between 5G and 5G+ is the addition of 700MHz low-band spectrum to StarHub’s network.

Lower-frequency 700MHz signals can travel further and penetrate buildings more effectively than higher-frequency bands. This complements our existing 5G network by extending connectivity into more indoor and harder-to-reach locations.

1 A 5G+ compatible device

Your device needs to support StarHub’s 5G+ network bands and have the latest compatible software installed.

2 A StarHub 5G mobile plan

5G+ is available to customers on eligible StarHub 5G mobile plans. Customers on 4G plans will need to move to a 5G plan to enjoy 5G+.

3 A 5G-compatible SIM or eSIM

You’ll need a SIM or eSIM that supports StarHub’s 5G Standalone network.

If you're already on an eligible StarHub 5G plan with a compatible device and SIM, you won't need to purchase a separate 5G+ add-on. Your device can connect to 5G+ where available.
