What are the Biz+ mobile plans?

Biz+ Plans provide our Enterprise customers with an entirely new and superior mobile experience including faster connections, huge bundles of data, and the flexibility to customise plans with new value-added services (VAS).


The Biz+ plans provide flexible mobile plan options for SIM-Only or Plan with device. Plan with device includes Biz+ Lite, Biz+ Value (NEW), Premium, and Pro - SIM Only plans include Biz+ Lite, Premium, and Pro.


With Biz+ Mobile Plans, you will experience our 5G Trial at no extra cost until further notice from StarHub.

Who is eligible to sign up for the Biz+ mobile plans?

All business customers are eligible to sign up for Biz+ mobile plans.

What charges apply when I sign up for Biz+ plans?

When you sign up for Biz+ plans the one-time SIM activation charge of $37.45 (incl. GST) will be waived. The monthly recurring charge will be applicable.

What are the benefits of Biz+ 2-year plan and Biz+ SIM Only plan?

We have designed plans that cater to different business needs. Customers on Biz+ plans will be able to trial and enjoy the benefits of StarHub’s 5G service at no extra cost, until further notice from StarHub.


The Biz+ 2-year plan is an all-inclusive plan that comes with bigger bundled data, more outgoing talktime, increased SMS and better device discounts. It also includes Biz+ SmartSupport for 24 months which allows 2 device swaps within 24 months as well as, FREE delivery within 4 hours to any location islandwide, and unlimited access to tech support. The Biz+ 2-Year Plans include the Biz+ Lite, Biz+ Value, Biz+ Premium, Biz+ Pro.


For all new 2-year sign ups and recontracts to Biz+ Pro and Premium, DataTravel Monthly is also offered. This promotion gives users a 2GB monthly data roam allowance which can be used across the relevant supported roaming destinations as listed at www.starhub.com/mobilebiz.


Biz+ SIM Only 1-year plan lets you enjoy generous amount of data, increased SMS, and more outgoing talktime.

Biz+ SIM Only No Contract provides you with all the basics without a long-term commitment. The Biz+ Sim-Only plans include the Biz+ Lite, Biz+ Premium, Biz+ Pro.

How do I get the new 5G SIM?

Starting from 16 June 2021, new and re-contracting customers who subscribe to any Biz+ plan will receive StarHub’s new 5G SIM card for free for a limited time.


For existing Biz+ customers, you can exchange your existing SIM Card for our new 5G SIM Card at no extra charge. You will be notified once your new SIM Card is ready for exchange.

I do not require access to 5G service. Can I still sign up for the Biz+ mobile plans?

Yes you can! If you are holding on to a 5G device*, simply switch off the 5G settings on your phone and continue to access Singapore’s fastest 4G network.


*A 5G software update from the phone manufacturers may be required. Please refer to the 5G Device FAQ for the list of StarHub certified handsets.

How do I sign up for Biz+ plans?

Biz+ plans are open to new and recontract customers via all sales channels (retail, online, inside sales, and channel partners).

I am currently signed up with an old mobile plan and I am eligible for contract renewal. Can I recontract to my existing plan?

As a part of our ongoing efforts to simplify and streamline our offerings, the old plans will not be available for recontract. We encourage you to sign up for our Biz+ Plans which comes with bigger data bundle, a greater range of VASes, and a host of other benefits designed to meet your business needs.

What will happen to my existing plan if I do not recontract?

Your plan will remain as is but the discount entitlements and free VASes will lapse upon contract expiry. To continue enjoying our range of benefits you can move to the new plan.

When my current mobile plan contract expires, can I continue with my current plan?

Yes, you may choose to remain on your existing plan without recontracting. However, if you would like to enjoy more benefits, you can recontract to our new Biz+ plan. It’s an all-inclusive plan that comes with bigger data, more outgoing voice calls, increased SMS, better device discounts, and greater roaming data and, device care services.

I have a SIM Only without a contract. If I choose to terminate within one week, will there be any charges?

No, there is no early termination charge for customers with SIM Only plans without a contract.

Will MultiSIM be supported in the Biz+ plans?

As part of our ongoing efforts to simplify and streamline our offerings, we have discontinued our MultiSIM service.

Will the unutilised data bundle be carried forward to the next bill cycle or refunded?

The unutilised data bundle will not be carried forward to the next bill cycle or refunded, however, the new Biz+ plans are packed with an increased amount of data for your business needs.

Will there be a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) implemented on Unlimited minutes and Unlimited SMS?

If a Biz+ plan customer uses more than 10,000 local call minutes per month or more than 3,000 SMS, it will be deemed as excessive or abusive usage. Usage above the specified amount will be charged at prevailing pay-per-use rates of $0.1605 (incl. GST) per minute and $0.0535 (incl. GST) per SMS/MMS.

I am currently subscribed to the XL plan, will I be eligible to get the $500 handset upgrade voucher?

Most certainly. As long as you have completed 12 consecutive months of active service on your XL plan, you will be eligible to use the $500 handset voucher on the new Biz+ Pro plan with 2-year contract. Do note, if you choose to do an early recontract from 13th to 20th month, an early recontract fee of $300 is applicable. The $500 voucher can be used to offset against both the early recontract fee ($300) and the upfront payment of the device of your choice. Do keep a lookout for the terms and conditions that are stated on the voucher as these will apply at the point of your plan renewal.

If I am currently subscribed to Biz+ Pro plans, will I be eligible to get the $500 handset upgrade voucher?

What are the charges that apply when I subscribe to the Upsize VASes?

There will be a one-time charge of $10.70 (incl. GST) when you subscribe to the Upsize VASes. The monthly recurring charge of the upsize VAS will be applicable as well.

Can I subscribe to 2 Upsize VASes at the same time?

No, the Upsize VASes are mutually exclusive. For example, if you are subscribed to Data Upsize (20GB), you will need to terminate that VAS before you can sign up for Data Upsize (50 GB).

Can I subscribe to 1 Voice Upsize VAS, 1 SMS Upsize VAS and 1 Data Upsize VAS at the same time? 

Yes, you can subscribe to 1 Voice, 1 SMS and 1 Data Upsize VAS at the same time according to your eligible plan.

I am currently signed up with an older mobile plan; can I subscribe to the new data / talktime/ SMS add-ons?

No, the new VASes are only available with the new Biz+ plans.

Does the new plan also come with free Unlimited weekend data?

No, but the Biz+ plans comes with bigger bundled data and more choices of new VASes. Refer to the Value-added services.

Under the new plans, will I be eligible to subscribe to the Free IDD 018 Value-Added Service (VAS)?

Customers on Biz+ SIM-only 12 months and Biz+ 24 months are entitled to free IDD 018 VAS. These customers do not have to purchase separately at $7/month.


Do note, there is a limit of 700 minutes per month for the maximum duration of the IDD calls made under the Free IDD 018 VAS. Thereafter, any usage above 700 minutes a month, will be charged as excess minutes at the prevailing IDD 018 rates of the call destination. Refer the terms and conditions.

I am an existing business customer with subscription to SmartShare service. Will I be eligible to sign up for the new plans?

So long as you are eligible for recontracting, you will be able to upgrade to the new Biz+ plans. However, SmartShare service will no longer be applicable. If you wish to retain your existing mobile plans with SmartShare, but sign up for additional new lines on Biz+ plans, you can do so on a different billing account.

Can I still subscribe for DataJump/Plus 3/ Data-free value-added service?

No, they have been replaced by Data Upsize VAS. Learn more about Data Upsize VAS here.

What is DataTravel Monthly promotion?

DataTravel Monthly is a promotion offered to new signups or those recontracting with Biz+ Premium Plan and Biz+ Pro Plan on a 24-month contract. The promotion is offered for a certain period or periods as may be prescribed by StarHub. This promotion gives users a 2GB monthly data roam allowance which can be used across the relevant supported roaming destinations as listed at www.starhub.com/mobilebiz

Who is eligible for DataTravel Monthly promotion?

DataTravel Monthly Asia-Pacific 2GB is offered for new sign ups or those recontracting for Biz+ Premium Plan on a 24-month contract.

DataTravel Monthly Asia-Pacific 2GB provides 2GB monthly data roam allowance for use across 20 supported roaming destinations: Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.


Prevailing standard data roam rates will apply if you use data roaming in roaming destinations that are not supported under DataTravel Monthly Asia-Pacific 2GB.


DataTravel Monthly Global 2GB is offered for new sign ups or those recontracting for Biz+ Pro Plan on a 24-month contract.

Can DataTravel Monthly promotion be used in conjunction with RoamEasy?

DataTravel Monthly cannot be used in conjunction with RoamEasy Daily Plan, nor any other data roaming promotions/discounts, and/or any other monthly recurring data roam plans.

What are the excess data roam charges for DataTravel Monthly?

In the event that total data roaming usage across the relevant supported roaming destinations exceeds the 2GB monthly data roam allowance, excess data roam charges will apply.


  • DataTravel Monthly Asia-Pacific 2GB: Excess data roam charges will be charged at $15 for a further 2GB data roam allowance (or part thereof); for use across the 20 supported roaming destinations only.


  • DataTravel Monthly Global 2GB: Excess data roam charges will be charged at $40 for a further 2GB data roam allowance (or part thereof); for use across the 81 supported roaming destinations only.


If partial usage of the further 2GB data roam allowance is used, the excess data roam charges will not be pro-rated. The excess data roam charges will apply each time the 2GB monthly data roam allowance or further 2GB data roam allowance is exceeded and may be payable more than once per billing cycle.

Will any unused data roam allowance be rolled over to the next billing cycle for DataTravel Monthly?

Any and all unused data roam allowance (including the 2GB monthly data roam allowance and further 2GB data roam allowance (if any) pursuant to the excess data roam charges) cannot be rolled over to the next billing cycle.

What happens if I use data roaming in roaming destinations that are not supported under the respective DataTravel Monthly promotion?

For DataTravel Monthly Asia-Pacific 2GB users, prevailing standard data roam rates will apply if you use data roaming in roaming destinations that are not supported under DataTravel Monthly Asia-Pacific 2GB.


For DataTravel Monthly Global 2GB users, prevailing standard data roam rates will apply if you use data roaming in roaming destinations that are not supported under DataTravel Monthly Global 2GB.

What happens to DataTravel Monthly promotion if there is a change in ownership of mobile service, change in mobile plan or the first 24-month contract for Biz+ Premium Plan or Biz+Pro Plan expires?

In the event there is any change in ownership of a mobile service, change in mobile plan or the first 24-month contract for Biz+ Premium Plan or Biz+Pro Plan expires, the DataTravel Monthly promotion will be terminated. In this situation, any and all unused data roam allowance (including the 2GB monthly data roam allowance and further 2GB data roam allowance (if any) pursuant to the excess data roam charges) shall be forfeited. The prevailing standard data roam rates for the roaming destinations will also apply.
