What is 5G Unlimited+?

5G Unlimited+ is StarHub’s no-contract SIM only plan with unlimited local data, global roaming included, and no bill shocks. Enjoy peace of mind with ScamSafe and Caller Number Display included in your plan. You can track your usage, manage add-ons.

Can I purchase a mobile device with 5G Unlimited+?

Yes, you can. You may purchase a device along with a new 5G Unlimited+ Plan, or purchase a device with your existing 5G Unlimited+ Plan.

You can choose to pay for your device upfront or with 0% interest monthly instalments over 12 or 24 months.

Our 5G Unlimited+ / 5G Platinum Plans (excluding 5G Lite) reward you with monthly device credits called DeviceDollars with each monthly renewal. Use these credits to offset your upfront or monthly device installment payments.

What happens to unused entitlements?

Unused entitlements will not be rolled over. They refresh at the start of each new plan cycle.

Do I need to take any action for my 5G Unlimited+ Plans to be renewed?

No action is needed. Your 5G Unlimited+ Plan renews automatically each month, deducted from StarHub Dollars in your StarHub wallet or charged to your linked credit/debit card. Please ensure you have sufficient balance or a valid payment method.

Will CIS discounts or Corporate deals apply for 5G Unlimited+?

Yes, you get up to 20% off for 5G Unlimited+ and 5G Platinum Plans (excluding 5G Lite).

What happen to my DeviceDollars if I did not buy a phone when I sign up for 5G Unlimited+ / 5G Platinum?

DeviceDollars credited to your wallet will accumulate for up to 36 months before they expire. You may redeem them whenever you are ready to purchase a device. They can be used to offset an upfront payment, as well as monthly instalment payments.

Is my local data / talktime / SMS really unlimited as stated?

Yes, 5G Unlimited+ and 5G Platinum Plans have unlimited local data, calls and SMSes. Refer to here for information or you click here to view your entitlements in the StarHub app.

Does unlimited global voice include app-based calls?

No, it does not. App-based calls (e.g. Calls via WhatsApp, Zoom or Telegram) simply utilise your data allowance. If you run out of roaming data when overseas, you may purchase add-on data via the StarHub app.

How will the invoice be shown when I purchase a 5G Unlimited+ / 5G Platinum Plan along with a device on a monthly instalment plan?

Payments for your 5G Unlimited+ / 5G Platinum Plan and your device's monthly instalment plan will appear as two separate receipts or invoices within the StarHub app.

Will I be charged for Caller Number Display?

No. We're pleased to note that Caller Number Display is included in all 5G Unlimited+, 5G Platinum and Senior Plans. There will be no additional charge for this service.

Will I be charged for ScamSafe?

No. We're pleased to note that ScamSafe is included in all 5G Unlimited+, 5G Platinum and Senior Plans. There will be no additional charge for this service.

Will my HubClub Go rewards be applicable to 5G Unlimited+ / 5G Platinum Plans?

No, 5G Unlimited+ and 5G Platinum are not eligble for HubClub Go rewards. You may refer to here for more info.

However, we do offer a muti-line discount for our 5G Unlimited+ and 5G Platinum Plans, meaning more lines, more savings! Click here for details.

Who is eligible for Senior plan?

Customers who are 60 years old and above are entitled for the Senior Plan

What is the difference between $8 Senior and Senior plan now?

Our new 5G Senior Plan is an upgrade of our existing Senior plan, now with more benefits such as included roaming and scam protection with ScamSafe.

Can I port my number to the Data Only Plan?

Number porting to a Data Only Plan is not supported.

How do I sign up for the Data Only Plan?

You can sign up for our 5G Data Only Core or 5G Data Only Plus plans via our Online Store.

What happens if I need more data?

You may purchase an additional data add-on via the StarHub app.

What devices can I use with this plan?

5G Data-only Plans can be used with both mobile phones and tablets that use cellular data.

Can I switch to an eSIM later?

Yes, you can switch between a Physical SIM or eSIM. A charge may apply when switching to a physical SIM.

Is roaming supported on this plan?

Yes, roaming is supported on our 5G Data Only Plans.

I'm on a Data Only plan, can I switch to a 5G Unlimited+ plan (with Talktime & SMS) and keep my current number?

You are unable to switch your number. Our 5G Data-only Plans use a 13-digit mobile number instead of a standard mobile number, which cannot be used with our 5G Unlimited+ Plans.

Can I switch my existing mobile line to a Data Only plan?

This is not possible as our 5G Data Only Plans use a 13-digit mobile number instead of a standard mobile number.
