1. What is Local Missed Call Alerts service?
It is a FREE service that sends SMS alerts to notify a customer of missed calls during the times his mobile phone is not turned on or is out of StarHub network coverage.

2. Who is eligible to use this service?
StarHub Mobile Postpaid customers who do not have an active Voicemail service will enjoy this service.

3. How do I subscribe to this Local Missed Call Alerts service?
There is no need to register for this service as it is provided automatically to any StarHub Mobile Post-paid customer who does not have an active Voicemail service.

4. How will I be billed for this service?
It is a FREE service so there is neither a registration nor subscription fee. You are also not charged for receiving the SMS alerts.

5. When will I receive a Local Missed Call Alert?
You will receive an SMS alert if someone tries to call you unsuccessfully when your mobile phone is not turned on, or your mobile phone is out of StarHub network coverage.

6. Does the Local Missed Call Alerts service support all the calls I missed?
No. You will not receive the Local Missed Call Alerts if the missed call does not originate from Singapore, the missed call is from a payphone,  PABX (hunting line), the caller has an active Caller Number Non-Display, your mobile phone is not turned on or you are not within StarHub network coverage for more than 48 hours, and you have activated Call Forwarding to another phone.

7. How does the Local Missed Call Alert message look like?
If you missed one call:
(From) 9XXXXXXX: 
U hv missed call(s) fr 9XXXXXXX(09:40). This is a free service from StarHub. If you missed more than one call from the same caller who tried to call you at different times (eg. 10.30AM and 2.50PM), you will only see the latest timestamp of the missed call from this caller:

U hv missed call(s) fr 9XXXXXXX(14:50). This is a free service from StarHub. If you missed more than one call from more than one caller, you will get a Summary Missed Call Alert of up to a maximum of 3 SMSes containing the missed call numbers (up to maximum of 21 missed call numbers):

U hv missed call(s) fr 6XXXXXXX(11:25);
9XXXXXXX(16:10). This is a free service from StarHub

8. If I do not wish to receive the Local Missed Call Alerts, how can I deactivate this service?
You can deactivate by sending an SMS. Please note that when you deactivate the Local Missed Call Alerts service, your Overseas Missed Call Alerts service^ will be deactivated as well.

9. To deactivate via SMS:
SMS the word < Deactivate> to 2828 and SEND.
You should get a confirmation reply as follows:

You have deactivated the Local (for postpaid w/o voicemail only) and Overseas Missed Call Alerts.
For reactivation of service, please SMS <Activate> to 2828 and SEND.
^Overseas Missed Call Alerts service is only for StarHub Mobile International Roaming subscribers. 

10. Can I re-activate this service any time?
Yes, you can re-activate by sending an SMS. Please note that when you activate the Local Missed Call Alerts service, your Overseas  Missed Call Alerts service^ will be activated as well.

11. To reactivate via SMS:
SMS the word < Activate> to 2828 and SEND

You should get a confirmation reply as follows:

You have activated the Local (for postpaid w/o voicemail only) and Overseas Missed Call Alerts.
For deactivation of service, please SMS <Deactivate> to 2828 and SEND
^Overseas Missed Call Alerts service is only for StarHub Mobile International Roaming subscribers.

12. Is there a daily limit on the number of Local Missed Call Alerts I can receive?
Yes, you can receive up to a maximum of 20 Local Missed Call Alerts each day. The summary Missed Call Alert of up to 3 SMSes is considered as 1 Local Missed Call Alert.
