Do I need to buy a phone to qualify, and can I use this for the upcoming iPhone launch?

How much will I pay each month on the Unlimited+ Max plan?
During the first 6 months, you’ll pay just $39/month (50% off the standard $78 rate). From month 7 onwards, your plan subscription will revert to the standard $78/month rate.
How does this promotion work with my Hubbing savings?
Promotional plan discounts cannot be stacked with Hubbing savings during the first 6 months. However, your line will automatically start enjoying Hubbing savings from month 7, based on the number of eligible lines under your Hub ID.
Will I see the discount on my first bill?
Yes! The 50% promotional discount will be automatically reflected on your very first StarHub bill.
How do I get the 50% discount when signing up online?

How long does line porting take?
Mobile port-in generally completes within 24 to 48 hours after your SIM card is activated.
What do I need to prepare before porting my number?
Please ensure:
- The line is registered under your own NRIC/FIN.
- Your existing line remains active (do not terminate it with your current provider beforehand).
- You have no outstanding bills with your current operator.
