What is StarHub’s 5G+?
5G+ is StarHub's next evolution 5G network, now included with our mobile plans. It gives you more coverage, more speed, and more reliable connections, wherever you are.
How is Starhub's 5G+ different from 5G?
5G+ builds on regular 5G with added network capacity. You get up to 4x faster speeds, stronger connections in places like indoors, underground, and crowded environments, and a smoother, more consistent experience overall.
Is it included in my plan?
Yes, 5G+ is available to 5G postpaid and prepaid mobile plans.
Do I need a new SIM?
You'll need a 5G SIM to enjoy 5G+. If you're not sure whether your current SIM supports it, you can check with StarHub or swap to a 5G SIM.
Which phones support 5G+?
You'll need a 5G+ SA-ready device. Below is the full list of 5G+ handsets, that you can enjoy Starhub’s 5G+ service.

Where is Starhub's 5G+ available?
5G+ works in more places than ever, including indoors, underground, and in crowded environments, so you stay connected where you need it most.
Will I automatically connect to Starhub 5G+?
Yes. As long as you're already on a 5G plan with a 5G SIM or eSIM, and using a supported device, you'll connect to 5G+ automatically, no extra setup needed.
Does it cost extra?
No, 5G+ is already included in eligible 5G mobile plans.
What are the benefits of 5G+ besides faster speed?
Does 5G+ work while roaming overseas?
Not yet. 5G+ runs on 5G Standalone (SA) technology, and our roaming partners currently only support 5G Non-Standalone (NSA). While roaming, you'll stay connected on 5G NSA or 4G, depending on what's available in that country.
How do I get connected to StarHub 5G+?
You'll need three things: a 5G mobile plan, a 5G SIM or eSIM, and a supported 5G+ device.
How will I know my device is connected to 5G+?
Your network indicator may vary depending on your device manufacturer and software version. For supported Android models, customers will see “5G+” beside network signal strength. E.g. Samsung Galaxy Fold8/ Fold8 Ultra/ Flip8 will display 5G+.
What happens if I'm temporarily unable to connect to the StarHub 5G+ network?
On instances where the 5G+ network is unavailable, you will automatically be switched to our 5G or 4G network to ensure you remain connected online. As soon as 5G+ network becomes accessible, you will automatically be reconnected back.
In what frequency band and spectrum(s) is StarHub running its 5G+ network on?
StarHub's 5G Standalone Access (SA) is deployed on 3.5GHz, 2.1GHz and 700MHz spectrum that allows us to enhance and expand our 5G coverage.
