How do I upgrade to the All-New StarHub Prepaid?
Simply log on to the StarHub app and tap "Shop". Select "Mobile Plan" and follow the steps.
Enter your prepaid number to request for the upgrade.
How will I know if my request to switch to the All-New StarHub Prepaid is successful?
You'll receive an SMS and notification on the StarHub app once your request submission is successful. This request should be completed within minutes.
How long does it take to switch to the All-New StarHub Prepaid?
The switch to the All-New StarHub Prepaid will be completed within a few minutes once the request has been successful.
Do I need a new SIM card to enjoy the All-New StarHub Prepaid?
You can enjoy to the All-New StarHub Prepaid without changing your SIM Card. However, do request for a 5G SIM card via the StarHub app if you don't already have one.
What will happen to my add-on services and Value Added Services (VAS) after switching to the All-New StarHub Prepaid?
The All-New StarHub Prepaid offers its dedicated range of attractive add-ons and value-added services. The add-on services and VAS that are part of your Prepaid mobile line will not be added to your All-New StarHub Prepaid when you switch.
Do I need to change my APN to enjoy the All-New StarHub Prepaid?
You can continue to use the existing APN "SHPPD" on the All-New StarHub Prepaid. However, please change your APN settings to "SHWAP" in order to enjoy roaming services.
What will happen to my existing prepaid credits and plan entitlements after switching to the All-New StarHub Prepaid?
The credits in your main wallet will be transferred to the All-New StarHub Prepaid after the switch. You can use these credits for future payments.
We strongly recommend fully utilising the data, talktime and SMSes in your Prepaid plan before switching to the All-New StarHub Prepaid. The remaining entitlements will not be transferred to your to All-New StarHub Prepaid Plan.
My Prepaid SIM is registered under someone else who previously passed the SIM card to me. How can I switch my prepaid service to the All-New StarHub Prepaid?
Log in to the StarHub app, choose "Manage Plan & Add-ons" and follow the steps. You will need to submit your ID for verification purposes so that we can switch the plan to under your name and account.
My prepaid service is currently suspended due to credit expiry. How can I switch to the All-New StarHub Prepaid?
You can switch to the All-New StarHub Prepaid after resuming your service. Simply top up your Prepaid mobile line, log in to the StarHub app and tap "More" here. Select "Manage plan & add on" and follow the steps.
Rest assured that the credit in your main wallet will be transferred to your All-New StarHub Prepaid Plan after the switch. You can use these credits for future payments.
