Revision of Fibre TV Set-Top Box rental fee
I received a message about the revision of Fibre TV Set-Top Box rental fee from 1 September 2025 onwards. What is this about?
StarHub will be revising the monthly rental fee for Fibre TV Set-Top Boxes starting 1 September 2025, for both Basic Tier and Entertainment Pass customers. This change is due to inflation and rising operating costs required to maintain the existing equipment which is outdated. We encourage you to consider switching to StarHub TV+ for more cost-effective entertainment options as well as an enhanced viewing experience.
How much more will the Fibre TV set-top box rental cost and who does this affect?
The monthly rental fee will increase by $6.54/month (with GST) per box from 1 September 2025 for customers who are subscribed to the Basic Tier or StarHub Entertainment Pass plans.

How many TV+ boxes can I have under one subscription?
Under a single TV+ subscription, you can have up to 4 TV+ boxes. If you require access on more than 4 devices, we recommend using the StarHub TV+ app, which allows up to 2 concurrent streams on compatible smart devices such as mobile phones, tablets, and Smart TVs.
