What Tourist eSIM Plan is available?
You will be able to get our Tourist eSIM Plan at a rate of $12. This comes with 100GB of local data, 500 minutes of talk time, 100 SMS and 30 minutes of IDD call. You can also roaming with this eSIM Plan with 3GB of bundled roaming data in 20 destinations.

What is Hub ID?

A Hub iD requires an email address that you register with us and acts as your single login credential to all StarHub digital platforms (app and web).

Why do I need a Hub ID when i buy a Tourist eSIM Plan?

Your Hub iD lets you manage your Tourist eSIM plan, check your plan usage, get Chat Support and also to re-send your eSIM QR code if required.

How do I download and install my Tourist eSIM using StarHub App?

If you've bought Tourist eSIM with our StarHub App, you can opt for a QR code to be sent to your email, and follow the instructions on the email to activate the eSIM on your mobile device.

What should I do if I fail to download the Tourist eSIM?

If you're having trouble downloading the Tourist eSIM, make sure the eSIM QR code hasn't been used before. Give it a few minutes or try scanning the QR code in a less crowded network.

I have downloaded the Tourist eSIM but why am I not able to surf internet or make call with it?

If you've downloaded the Tourist eSIM in your home country, keep in mind that you'll need to be in Singapore to activate the service.

How do I activate my Tourist eSIM?

For a seamless experience, ensure that you are connected correctly to the StarHub mobile network upon your arrival in Singapore. This will automatically activate the Tourist eSIM mobile service.

I have accidentally deleted the Tourist eSIM from my device. What should I do now?

You can scan the same Tourist eSIM QR code you received earlier from StarHub.

If you do not have your QR code, you can request it to be re-sent to your email address. Go to StarHub App:

  1. Select "Mobile Line Detail".
  2. Go to "More Action".
  3. Click on "eSIM QR code".

For this step, do make sure your device is connected to the internet through WiFi or mobile connection.

Can I switch the Tourist eSIM to another device?

To switch your Tourist eSIM to another device, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure both your old and new devices have internet connection.
  2. Remove the Tourist eSIM from your device.
  3. Wait for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Scan the QR Code you received earlier from StarHub.

Unable to find the QR code? No worries! You can request it to be re-sent to your email address. Go to StarHub App.

  1. Select "Mobile Line Detail".
  2. Go to "More Action".
  3. Click on "eSIM QR code".

For this step, do make sure your device is connected to the internet through WiFi or mobile connection.

The 14 days validity period had ended. Can I purchase Tourist eSIM again?

You will receive reminder notifications on StarHub App 3 days, as well as on the last day before your Tourist eSIM plan expires. This will give you ample time to purchase a new 14-day plan and continue enjoying our services after your current plan expires.

What happens after my Tourist eSIM Plan has expired?

You can purchase a new Tourist eSIM plan at any time, whether it's before or after your current plan expires.

Who is eligible for Tourist eSIM?
All visitors 18 years and above to Singapore who currently own an eSIM-supported device, and would like to get connected on a short-term mobile plan, are welcome to sign up for a Tourist eSIM plan.

*Please note that due to local country regulations, credit cards issued in India is tentatively not able to make payment through StarHub app. Please use an alternative credit card for payment if available.

What documents do I need to provide to purchase Tourist eSIM Plan?

To ensure a smooth process in purchasing the Tourist eSIM, you will need to have your passport ready for digital ID verification which can be completed in the StarHub App.

I did not receive the email containing the QR code for my Tourist eSIM. What should I do?

The email with QR code for the Tourist eSIM may take up to 5 minutes to arrive in your inbox.

If you still did not receive thereafter, you can request it to be re-sent to your email address. Go to StarHub App:

  1. Select "Mobile Line Detail".
  2. Go to "More Action".
  3. Click on "eSIM QR code".3.

Please make sure your device is connected to the internet via WiFi or mobile connection.

I have lost my Tourist eSIM QR Code. What should I do?

You can request for your Tourist eSIM to be re-sent to your email address. Go to StarHub App:
