What are the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers?
Designed for exclusive use with the StarHub TV+ Pro set-top box, the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers are meant to enhance your entertainment setup with a 360-degree surround sound immersion experience within your home.
They come as two separate speakers (left and right) which are paired wirelessly with your StarHub TV+ Pro box for easy set-up.
What content is best enjoyed using the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers?
The StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers work best with native Dolby Atmos content which is widely available on Netflix, Disney+, Max and Amazon Prime Video to provide an immersive cinematic surround sound experience within your home.
For content with stereo audio, the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers will convert the audio processing to simulate surround sound experiences.
What devices are compatible with the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers?
The StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers are designed to work with the StarHub TV+ Pro set-top box only and cannot be paired with any other consumer electronic devices.
How much do the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers cost?
The StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers are available as a set of two speakers at a one-time purchase price of $299.00 (inclusive of GST).

Is StarHub providing an installation service for the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers?
The StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers are designed for flexibility and self-installation with a simple on-screen pairing process. If you have subscribed to a StarHub service or bundle with StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers, do note that StarHub will only deliver them to your home without any installation service.
How to Set Up Your StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers
How do I set up my StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers?
Step 1: Check and ensure your StarHub TV+ Pro is on the latest software version
To check your software version, go to Settings > System > More settings > Device Preferences > About > Android TV OS build and check that the version number ends with 12.7.6.
Step 2: Place the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers at recommended positions
The recommended positions for the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers would be as illustrated:
From a top view perspective (note that image is not drawn to scale):
- The speakers should be ideally behind your sofa with a recommended height of 1.2 to 1.5m and 3 to 6m apart. Else, you may place them at the sides of the sofa with at least table height with your StarHub TV+ Pro.
- They should be placed within the line of sight from your StarHub TV+ Pro without any physical obstructions.
Step 3: Enable the Wireless Surround Speakers output
To go to the Wireless Surround Speakers settings, press the Info button on your remote control for at least 5 seconds.
Press the OK button on your remote control to enable the Wireless Surround Speakers output.
Step 4: On-screen Set Up
Once your StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers are powered on, press the OK button on your remote control to continue with the on-screen set-up.
Note: If the firmware of the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers is not up to date, you will see the following screen:
Once updated, you will be prompted to select the corresponding speaker with the test audio output so that the configuration can be set correctly.
Once both speakers are configured, you will hear the final test audio output on both speakers. Press the OK button on your remote control to complete the set-up.
How do I adjust the audio balance of the StarHub TV+ Pro and Wireless Surround Speakers?
To adjust the audio balance of the StarHub TV+ Pro and Wireless Surround Speakers, press the Info button on your remote control for at least 5 seconds to go to the Wireless Surround Speakers settings and select Balance configuration.
Use the Up or Down arrow buttons on your remote control to adjust the audio balance between your StarHub TV+ Pro and the Wireless Surround Speakers.
If you would like the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers to have a louder audio output, you can set the configuration to be closer to the Wireless Surround Speakers icon.
What are the options available for stereo audio processing?
There are three options available for stereo audio processing:
- Upmix to surround 5.1 (Default option)
- Quadraphonic (Surround 4.0)
- No surround – when selected, the Wireless Surround Speakers will not have any audio output when non-Dolby content is streamed.
How do I mount the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers on my walls?
There are two wall mount brackets and a bag of screws provided as part of the packaging, along with an installation guide for your quick reference.

Software Updates
How do I keep my StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers updated?
The Wireless Surround Speakers will periodically check for software updates in the background when they are connected to the StarHub TV+ Pro. Such updates are only installed when the Wireless Surround Speakers are not in use.
Troubleshooting Guide
I am unable to pair the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers. What should I do?
If you are unable to pair the Wireless Surround Speakers, you will see the following screen:
Before restarting the set-up, please ensure that the LED indicators on the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers are steady instead of blinking.
If the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers are blinking instead, you can press the reset button (located at the rear panel of the speaker) twice quickly to reset them.
After resetting, the LED indicators on the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers should turn steady and is ready for pairing.
If you have reset the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers but unable to pair them after retrying several attempts, you may exchange them at our StarHub Shops.
My StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers are disconnected. What should I do?
If your StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers are disconnected, try to power off both speakers and power on again after several minutes for them to attempt auto re-connection.
If the auto re-connection does not work, you may need to reset the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers and go through the pairing and set-up again.
I am unable to hear any audio on my StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers. What should I do?
Do note that surround sound capabilities are subject to content type and in some cases, the stereo audio processing settings may not provide surround sound experiences.
To diagnose whether the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers are faulty, you can perform an audio test in settings.
Step 1: Go to Wireless Surround Speakers settings
Press the Info button on your remote control for at least 5 seconds to go to the Wireless Surround Speakers settings and select either Left or Right Surround Speaker.
Step 2: Perform audio test
Press the OK button on your remote control to initiate the audio test. You should hear a ping sound on your selected speaker which means the speaker is functioning properly.
I have 2 sets of StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers and have mixed them up during cleaning. How would I know which speakers are paired to which StarHub TV+ Pro?
To check which StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers are connected to your StarHub TV+ Pro, you can perform an audio test in settings.
Step 1: Go to Wireless Surround Speakers settings
Press the Info button on your remote control for at least 5 seconds to go to the Wireless Surround Speakers settings and select either Left or Right Surround Speaker.
Step 2: Perform audio test
Press the OK button on your remote control to initiate the audio test. You should hear a ping sound on your selected speaker which means the speaker is connected to the StarHub TV+ Pro which you are performing the audio test from.
Warranty and Support
What is the warranty period for the StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers and what does it cover?
The StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers comes with a 24-month warranty period from the date of purchase and is warranted against defects in material and workmanship.
Where can I do a 1-1 exchange for my faulty StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers?
You can exchange your faulty StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers at the following StarHub Shops:
- Jurong Point
- Nex
- Plaza Singapura
- Tampines Mall
Regardless of whether one or both of the speakers are faulty, you will need to bring along the entire set of two speakers with the packaged accessories for an exchange.
Do note that our StarHub consultants will assess the claim and may reject the exchange if it is due to misuse or negligence.
Will my warranty period be extended after an exchange of my StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers?
There is no extension of your original warranty period after a faulty exchange.
If my StarHub TV+ Pro is faulty, do I need to reset my StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers and pair with the replacement again?
Yes, if your StarHub TV+ Pro is faulty, you will need to reset your existing StarHub Wireless Surround Speakers and go through the pairing process with the replacement unit.
