Can I port in my non-StarHub mobile line to a 5G Unlimited+ / 5G Platinum / Senior?

Yes, you can. Simply select "Port in from other telco" during the number selection and follow the on-screen instructions. Do note that your port-in request will be submitted after successful SIM card activation.

How do I submit a port-in request?

To port in a non-StarHub mobile line to a 5G Unlimited+ / 5G Platinum / 5G Senior Plan, select “Port in from other telco” during the number selection and follow the on-screen instructions. Do note that your port-in request will be submitted after successful SIM card activation.

How do I know if my port-in request is successful?

You'll be notified via the StarHub app and an SMS when the port-in request is successful.

Can I use my 5G Unlimited+ / 5G Platinum / Senior immediately after successful port-in?

You can start using your 5G Unlimited+ / 5G Platinum / 5G Senior Plan upon successful SIM card activation. Do note that a temporary number will be assigned to your SIM card while the port-in request is still in progress. The port-in request will be submitted after successful SIM card activation. Do expect 3 working days for the port-in request to be completed.

My port-in request was unsuccessful. What should I do?

Do refer to the notification on the StarHub app or SMS from us on the reason for your unsuccessful port-in request. Follow the instructions to re-submit your port-in request.

Can I resubmit another port-in request after my first unsuccessful attempt?

Yes, you can resubmit another port-in request.

Why haven't I received any notifications on my port-in request?

If it has not yet been 3 working days since you submitted the request, your port-in is likely still in progress. Please allow up to 3 working days for your port-in to be completed.

Will there be any delay in receiving calls/SMS while my port-in request is in progress?

You should be able to receive both calls and SMS on your port-in number with your existing mobile service provider. After successful port-in, you'll start receiving calls/SMS on your new plan.

Can I cancel my port-in request?

You are unable to cancel your port-in request once it has been submitted.
