Port In to Star Plans
Can I port in my StarHub mobile line to a Star Plan?
Yes, absolutely! And you can switch to Star Plan via StarHub App.
If you have a SIM Only or a Prepaid plan, you can switch to Star Plan any time. Even if you are on a one-year contract, there will be no termination charges when you switch.
If you have EasyGo instalment on SIM Only, you will need to pay the remaining balance for EasyGo when you switch.
If you have a 2-year contract plan, when you switch:
- No early termination charges and early recontract fees will apply, if you are on Month 21 and more.
- No early termination charges will apply, if you are on Month 13-20. However, there will be early recontract fees of $350.
Can I port in my non-StarHub mobile line to a Star Plan?
Yes, you can. Simply select "Port in from other telco" during the number selection and follow the on-screen instructions. Do note that your port-in request will be submitted after successful SIM card activation.

To port in a non-StarHub mobile line to a Star Plan, select "Port in from other telco" during the number selection and follow the on-screen instructions. Do note that your port-in request will be submitted after successful SIM card activation.
Porting in from both StarHub postpaid and prepaid to a Star Plan is not available at this moment.
How do I know if my port-in request is successful?
You'll be notified via the StarHub App and an SMS when the port-in request is successful.
Can I use my Star Plan immediately after successful port-in?
You can start using your Star Plan upon successful SIM card activation. Do note that a temporary number will be assigned to your SIM card while the port-in request is still in progress.
The port-in request will be submitted after successful SIM card activation. Do expect 3 working days for the port-in request to be completed.
My port-in request was unsuccessful. What should I do?
Do refer to the notification on the StarHub App or SMS from us on the reason for your unsuccessful port-in request. Follow the instructions to re-submit your port-in request.
Can I resubmit another port-in request after my first unsuccessful attempt?
Yes, you can resubmit another port-in request.
Why haven't I received any notifications on my port-in request?
A port-in request typically takes up to 3 working days to complete.
Will there be any delay in receiving calls/SMS while my port-in request is in progress?
You should be able to receive both calls and SMS on your port-in number with your existing mobile service provider.
After successful port-in, you'll start receiving calls/SMS on your Star Plan.
Can I cancel my port-in request?
You can cancel your port-in request if it's still in progress.
You will not be able to cancel your port-in request once it's been successfully completed.
