What is StarHub TV+ Pass?
The StarHub TV+ Pass is the new pass offering- where you don’t need to choose and you can have it all- Whether it is streaming services, apps and TV shows, StarHub TV+ has it delivered all in one place.
Available in no-contract option, customers can choose from six different StarHub TV+ Passes according to their preferred genre, and also enjoy the freedom of enhancing their subscription with add-on packs and 3rd party streaming apps.
What should I do when subscribing to StarHub TV+ Pass?
You just need to follow a few simple steps:
- Step 1: Select 1 out of the 7 StarHub TV+ passes, starting at $5.04 per month.
- Step 2: Opt for the default 24-month contract or choose to top-up $10.09/month for 12-month contract or $20.19/month for No Contract.
- Step 3: Boost your entertainment with add-on channels/packs/apps (optional)
- Step 4: Rent a StarHub TV+ box if you wish to enjoy a better big screen experience (optional)

What are the new features on StarHub TV+ and how do I use them?
With the new StarHub TV+ experience, you now get to enjoy the following features:
Time-Shift TV: For selected channels, you may navigate through the TV Guide to watch programmes that have aired in the last 24 hours. If you have tuned in to a programme in the middle of its broadcast, you will also be able to rewind or start over from the beginning.
Personalized Recommendations (coming soon): Content comes to you without having to search, based on your viewing history. Without having to search, we will match suitable and relevant content based on your viewing preferences.
Continue Watching (across devices): The feature will “bookmark” your viewing progress and remember where you last left off. Resume watching instantly on any supported devices whether at home or on-the-go.

How are the new StarHub TV+ Passes different from the old StarHub TV Plans or StarHub Entertainment Passes?
A brand new and better way to enjoy entertainment. Besides having full access to StarHub’s catalogue of live TV channels and on-demand content, you will be able to add on video streaming apps to boost your viewing experience in a single subscription.

How do I continue to enjoy and access my favourite LIVE TV content with this new StarHub TV+?
StarHub TV+ is simple to use! You can enjoy the flexibility of switching between Live TV, VOD content and streaming apps. Watch on any device via the StarHub TV+ app or watch on the big screen with the StarHub TV+ box. Simply log in with the same Hub iD, and your shows, Watchlist and personalisation will be available across all platforms.
Can I watch free-to-air channels with StarHub TV+ Pass?
Great news! You can now enjoy free-to-air channels on both the StarHub TV+ Box and StarHub TV+ Pro with an Internet connection from any Internet service provider.
For StarHub Fibre Broadband customers using a Smart WiFi / Smart WiFi MX2 / Smart WiFi Pro router or wired connection to the Linksys EA8100 / EA7500 router, there is no change required for your set-up and you can continue to enjoy free-to-air channels the same way you are used to.
Alternatively, you can access Mediacorp’s free-to-air content at https://www.mediacorp.sg/en/digitaltv.
What is the top-up fee for different contract duration? Can I choose to top-up to shorten my existing contract?
A monthly top-up fee of $10.09 or $20.19 is applicable when you choose a 12-month contract or No Contract option respectively. You will need to determine your contract duration at the point of sale or recontract. This monthly top-up fee will continue to be charged until you recontract to another plan or choose to terminate your subscription.
Do I need to be a StarHub Fibre Broadband customer in order to enjoy StarHub TV+ Pass?
No, you do not need to be a StarHub Fibre Broadband customer to enjoy StarHub TV+ Pass. StarHub TV+ Pass is designed to work with any Internet connection regardless of the internet service provider.
I am currently subscribed to StarHub TV+ with No Contract, can I switch to a 12-month or 24-month contract?
Yes, you may recontract to a 12-month or 24-month contract at any time. Do note that any promotions that you might be enjoying on your current StarHub TV+ Plan will be discontinued.
What are the different types of StarHub TV+ Pass I can choose from?
A total of 7 StarHub TV+ Passes are available: Entertainment+, Asian+, Malay+, Indian+, Filipino+, Sports+ and Starter+.
- Entertainment+– the best value Pass that brings you the latest English drama series and variety shows, inspiring lifestyle programs, critically acclaimed documentaries, popular kids programmes, and latest news around the world for the whole family.
- Asian+– the ‘go-to’ Pass if you would like to catch the latest and top-rated dramas, variety shows, movies, infotainment and LIVE award shows across Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and Japan.
- Malay+– a curated Pass that brings you the best of Malay entertainment from movies, dramas, variety shows, plus Korea dramas and movies.
- Indian+– the one single Pass that brings together the best of Hindi & Tamil drama series, variety shows, comedy, movies, plus lifestyle programs, news and current affairs from India.
- Filipino+– the ‘must-have’ selection for every Filipino family comprising of the top-rated drama series, variety shows, movies and around the clock news from the Philippines.
- Sports+– the only sports Pass that brings together the LIVE broadcasts and highlight shows of the widest range of sporting events from tennis, golf, football, WWE, and more.
- Starter+– includes the latest Asian drama including TVB dramas, and variety programmes, high-production value BBC First dramas, classic Hong Kong movies, and many more.
Where do I view the available channels for TV+ Passes?
I am an existing StarHub TV customer on contract. Am I able to enjoy StarHub TV+ Pass?
Yes! All customers, regardless of whether new or existing, will be able to enjoy the benefits of the new StarHub TV+ Passes. Even if you are currently serving a contract on your existing StarHub TV subscription, you can simply change to a StarHub TV+ Pass without incurring any early termination charges.
Do note that in doing so (i.e. switching from StarHub TV Plan/Entertainment Pass to StarHub TV+ Pass), any promotions that you might be enjoying on your current StarHub TV subscription will be discontinued.
I am an existing StarHub Entertainment Pass/StarHub TV plan customer, what will happen to my current subscription?
You may continue to enjoy your favourite shows on your existing subscription if you do not wish to switch to the new StarHub TV+.
However, if you would like to catch the latest programmes available on streaming services such as Disney+, HBO GO, Viu Premium and more, you are enccouraged to switch over to the new StarHub TV+ Passes.
You will not incur early termination charges if you decide to switch from your current StarHub Entertainment Pass or StarHub TV plan subscription to our new StarHub TV+ Passes. For more info, please visit starhub.com/tvplus
What are the main differences between TV+ and Fibre TV, and which is the right TV package for me?

What devices can I use to stream StarHub TV+ and do I need to rent a set-top box?
StarHub TV+ is available on compatible Internet-enabled devices:
- iOS devices running iOS 11 or later. Devices running modified/unofficial software or jail-broken are NOT supported.
- Android devices running Android 5.1 or later. Devices running modified/unofficial software or rooted are NOT supported.
- PC and MAC Internet browsers (latest 3 stable versions)o Chromeo Firefoxo Microsoft Edge (Chromium)o Safari
A set-top box is optional, and you may choose to rent a StarHub TV+ box anytime during your contract. With effect from 1 July 2022, rental of the TV+ set-top boxes will be contract-free.
For TV+ customers with set-top boxes still under an existing contract, each StarHub TV+ box will have its individual 12-month commitment with a tiered Early Termination Charge (ETC) of $5.96 x remaining months.
What is the minimum Internet connection speed required for StarHub TV+?
A high-speed Internet connection of at least 6Mbps is required. We recommend at least 10Mbps for an optimal viewing experience.
How do I start watching on StarHub TV+?
After signing up for a StarHub TV+ pass, you'll receive a notification once processing is completed and you can already access the channels on your subscribed pass.
You'll need a Hub iD to start watching, so if you don't have a Hub iD yet, create one here.
How many devices can I login with my Hub iD to watch StarHub TV+?
You can register up to a maximum of 5 devices and stream on 2 devices at any one time.
If you have rent a StarHub TV+ box, it will have its own dedicated streaming capacity and will not count towards the limit of 5 devices.
What is the maximum number of StarHub TV+ boxes I can rent for StarHub TV+?
Each StarHub TV+ subscription will support a maximum of 4 StarHub TV+ boxes. You may want to consider taking up an additional StarHub TV+ subscription if you require more than 4 StarHub TV+ boxes.
How do I add more StarHub TV+ Passes to my subscription if I am currently subscribing to StarHub TV+ without a box?
To add more StarHub TV+ Pass(es), please log in to StarHub App or call 1630 to manage your subscription.
Can I add more StarHub TV+ Passes to my subscription? What should I do?
Sure! You can choose to add more StarHub TV+ Passes available from $5.04 per month onwards on top of your existing StarHub TV+ Pass(es).
To add more StarHub TV+ Pass(es), simply:
1. Go to any channel of your choice, press the OK button on your remote control to subscribe.
For example, to subscribe to the Sports+ Pass, simply go to any Sports channel (e.g. Hub Sports 1 Channel 201) and press the OK button to subscribe.
2. Press the STORE button on your remote control and browse the available StarHub TV+ Passes to subscribe.
I am an existing StarHub TV or StarHub Entertainment Pass customer. Can I purchase any of the StarHub TV+ Passes on-screen using my remote control?
The StarHub TV+ Passes are only available to customers who are subscribed under the new StarHub TV+ Pass.
To switch from your existing StarHub TV Plan or StarHub Entertainment Pass to StarHub TV+ Pass, simply visit www.starhub.com/tvplus or visit any StarHub Shop.
Can I subscribe to the Add-On Channels/Packs/Apps without a StarHub TV+ Pass?
In order to subscribe to Add-On Channels/Packs/Apps, you will need to subscribe to at least one StarHub TV+ Pass.
We are happy to share with you that Add-On Channels/Packs/Apps, which you may choose to add at any time, do not come with any contract commitment. Hence, you will not need to worry about any early termination charge(s).
At the start of the contract, I subscribed to Asian+ Pass with 24-month contract. I have decided to add on a Sports+ Pass. Subsequently, can I choose to retain the Sports+ Pass and unsubscribe from the Asian+ Pass? Will I be charged any Early Termination Charges (ETCs)?
Under the new StarHub TV+ Plan, the subscription comes with one minimum StarHub TV+ Pass. This is regardless of the type of StarHub TV+ Pass chosen.
In this case, if you have maintained at least one StarHub TV+ Pass in your subscription, you will not be charged for any early termination charges.
Kindly note that pro-rated charges are applicable due to the different pricing for each StarHub TV+ Pass.
I am currently subscribed to Malay+ Pass on a 24-month contract. Can I switch to another StarHub TV+ Pass during the contract period?
You can simply do so by modifying your subscription via StarHub App. Applicable charges will be pro-rated if you are making the switch to a Pass with a different monthly subscription fee.
Kindly be informed that switching of Passes will only be available from the second calendar month onwards upon service activation.
Why am I unable to switch Pass during the first month when I subscribed to StarHub TV+ Pass?
The switching of Passes is only available from the second calendar month onwards upon service activation.
Why am I unable to switch Pass within 24 hours as compared to the old StarHub Entertainment Passes?
With the new StarHub TV+ Plan, you no longer need to choose, enjoy your streaming, app and TV favourites all in one place. Plus, switching of Passes takes effect immediately.
If I change my current StarHub TV+ Pass to a different Pass, when will it take effect?
The change will take place immediately.
How many times can I switch my current StarHub TV+ Pass to a different Pass?
The switching of Passes is allowed once in a calendar month. This means you can switch once from the start of the calendar month any time you wish. However, if you try to switch more than once, you will be prompted with an error message that you have switched more than once, and you will not be able to proceed.
Why is there a difference in the prices in the various StarHub TV+ Passes?
The channels offered under the respective StarHub TV+ Passes are designed and packaged according to the genre similarity. Hence, the prices may differ across different passes taking into consideration the count of channels.
To provide greater viewing flexibility and entertainment, you can also choose to change out to other StarHub TV+ Pass(es). Applicable charges will be pro-rated if you are making the switch to a Pass with a different monthly subscription fee.
Are the old StarHub TV plans or StarHub Entertainment Pass still available?
The StarHub TV+ Plan is the current StarHub Entertainment experience. As such, the old StarHub TV Plan or StarHub Entertainment Pass will no longer be available for new customers to sign up or for existing customers to recontract with effect from 29 Aug 2020.
I’m currently subscribed to [Channel Name] and I want to recontract my StarHub Entertainment, why is it not available on StarHub TV+ Pass?
Some channels are not available on StarHub TV+ Pass due to broadcast rights limitations.
Kindly be informed that once you have changed out to a StarHub TV+ Plan, you will not be able to change back to the previous StarHub TV Plan or StarHub Entertainment Pass.
If you wish to continue viewing and subscribed to [Channel Name], we would advise you to remain on your current StarHub TV Plan or StarHub Entertainment Pass subscription.

Will I be able to record my favourite programmes?
No, the Smart TV Value-Added Service (VAS) for recording will not be available for StarHub TV+. Instead, we have introduced the new Time-Shift TV feature for you to catch up your favourite programmes within the last 24 hours for selected channels at no additional cost.
I am an existing StarHub Fibre Broadband customer and would like to rent a StarHub TV+ box to view my StarHub TV+ subscription. How can I rent the StarHub TV+ box?
You may visit any of the StarHub Shops to rent the StarHub TV+ box.
I am an existing StarHub Fibre Broadband customer and would like to rent a StarHub TV+ box to view my StarHub TV+ subscription. Is there any router compatibility which I need to take note of?
I am an existing StarHub Fibre Broadband customer and would like to rent multiple StarHub TV+ boxes to view my StarHub TV+ subscription. Can a single router support multiple StarHub TV+ boxes?
This is dependent on each individual’s home set-up and layout.
As a general guideline, a single router will be able to support StarHub TV+ boxes located in the same room (e.g. Living Room) and in the next room (1 wall apart) from the router position.
For a better streaming experience, we would recommend for you to purchase additional units of Smart WiFi to improve your home WiFi coverage for StarHub TV+ boxes located further away from your main router.
I am an existing StarHub Fibre Broadband customer and would like to rent a set-top box to view my StarHub TV+ subscription. Will it affect the bandwidth of my Internet connection?
Yes, both StarHub Fibre Broadband and StarHub TV+ services will be sharing the same connection via your router. As each StarHub TV+ box is allocated with dedicated bandwidth to prioritize your viewing experience, your maximum Internet bandwidth will be reduced.
Will I be able to stream outside of Singapore?
You will only be able to stream content for StarHub TV+ within Singapore.
Will StarHub TV+ Pass subscribers be eligible for Hub Club Membership and Hub Club Discount?
StarHub TV+ Pass subscribers will be eligible for Hub Club Membership but there will not be any Hub Club Discount applicable.
Is StarHub TV+ a non-proratable service?
StarHub TV+ Pass is a proratable service.
The “+” sign for each StarHub TV+ Pass is part of the overall new branding for StarHub TV and does not refer to the non-proratable service under the Bill Display legend.
