What is this feature for toggling of subtitle languages about?

This feature allows you to select your preferred subtitle languages for supported channels and subtitle languages are subject to availability from our content partners.


For Fibre TV customers

Step 1: Press the [*] key on your Fibre TV remote control.

Step 2: Select from one of the available languages.


For StarHub TV+ Box customers^

Step 1: Press OK and select the "Audio & Subtitles" option.

Step 2: Select the available Audio track and/or Subtitle track.


^Only available for StarHub TV+ Box customers with StarHub Fibre Broadband in the same household and connected to one of the compatible router models: Smart WiFi, Smart WiFi Pro, Linksys EA7500v2 or Linksys EA8100.

What languages are available for tvN Ch 834?

Currently, only English, Chinese and Malay subtitle languages are supported.

I am unable to use this feature on my StarHub TV+ service. Why is this so and is there an alternative?

By default, you will be viewing in English subtitles. This feature for toggling of subtitle languages is currently not supported for the following:

  • StarHub TV+ Box: If you are not connected to StarHub Fibre Broadband or not using a compatible router model (Smart WiFi, Smart WiFi Pro, Linksys EA7500v2 or Linksys EA8100)
  • StarHub TV+ app
  • StarHub TV+ web


Unfortunately, there is no alternative at the moment if you prefer to view in Chinese subtitles.

What do I need to do for this feature upgrade?

There is no action required from your end. If you are unable to see the feature for toggling of subtitle languages, please reboot your set-top box.
