What is ZEE5 Premium? 

ZEE5 is the world’s largest streaming platform for South Asian content run by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. How do I subscribe to ZEE5 Premium?

For StarHub TV+ customers


You can sign up for StarHub TV+ with Indian+ Pass to enjoy complimentary access to ZEE5 Premium. For current promotions, please visit here.


Existing StarHub TV+ customers can add the Indian+ Pass via the StarHub App to enjoy complimentary access to ZEE5 Premium.


Once the Indian+ Pass is successfully activated, you’ll receive an SMS or email notification about your ZEE5 Premium access.


For StarHub Broadband and Postpaid Mobile customers


You can subscribe to ZEE5 Premium as a standalone app subscription. Simply visit our StarHub TV+ Store at www.starhubtvplus.com/store via a desktop web browser and log in with your Hub iD.


Note: StarHub TV+ Store is currently not supported on mobile browsers.

What’s the difference between ZEE5 Premium and free content available on ZEE5?

ZEE5 offers a wide range of exclusive content that’s made available only for ZEE5 Premium subscribers. ZEE5 Premium content includes ZEE5 Originals, blockbuster Hindi cinemas, superhit regional movies across 18 different languages, dubbed movies in regional language and much more. With a premium account, you can enjoy an ad-free experience on up to 3 devices.

I’m an existing Indian+ Pass subscriber. How and when can I enjoy ZEE5 Premium?

Your Indian+ pass comes with complimentary ZEE5 Premium access. You should have received an SMS or email notification informing you that your access has been enabled.If you’re unable to activate your ZEE5 Premium access, please reach out to us by sending us a message on Facebook or WhatsApp.

I have multiple Indian+ Pass subscriptions. Do I enjoy multiple complimentary access to ZEE5 Premium?

You’ll only be able to enjoy 1 complimentary access to ZEE5 Premium regardless of the number of Indian+ Pass subscriptions you have. With a premium account, you can enjoy an ad-free experience on up to 3 devices.

Is activation required for ZEE5 Premium access and is there any expiry period?

You can activate your complimentary ZEE5 Premium access using your Hub iD as soon as you receive the SMS or email notifying you that your access has been enabled. Just ensure that you have an active subscription to Indian+ Pass.

I’m an existing ZEE5 Premium subscriber. How can I enjoy ZEE5 Premium access from StarHub with my Indian+ Pass subscription?

If you’re an existing ZEE5 Premium subscriber, you’ll need to create a new ZEE5 account with a different email address and link it to your Hub iD.

I have an existing ZEE5 free account. How can I enjoy ZEE5 Premium access from StarHub with my Indian+ Pass subscription?

If you have an existing ZEE5 free account (registered with an email address), you can log in directly to link it to your Hub iD as part of the ZEE5 Premium activation.


Note: Existing ZEE5 free account registered using mobile number, or sign-in with Google, Facebook, Twitter or Apple IDs are not supported.

What will happen to my complimentary access to ZEE5 Premium if I remove my Indian+ Pass?

Unfortunately, your complimentary access to ZEE5 Premium will be terminated as well.

What will happen to my complimentary access to ZEE5 Premium if I terminate my StarHub TV+ service?

Unfortunately, your complimentary access to ZEE5 Premium will be terminated as well.

What will happen to my complimentary access to ZEE5 Premium if I transfer the ownership of my StarHub TV+ service?

Unfortunately, your complimentary access to ZEE5 Premium will be terminated. The new owner of your StarHub TV+ service will have complimentary access to ZEE5 Premium as long as they keep the Indian+ Pass. They will need to create a ZEE5 account and link it to their Hub iD to start their access.

What will happen to my complimentary access to ZEE5 Premium if I suspend my StarHub TV+ service?

Your complimentary access to ZEE5 Premium will be paused and you’ll need to re-activate your ZEE5 Premium subscription using your Hub iD once your StarHub TV+ service resumes.



ZEE5 Premium for Broadband or Postpaid Mobile

I’m a StarHub Broadband / Postpaid Mobile subscriber. Can I subscribe to ZEE5 Premium through StarHub?

Yes, you can subscribe to ZEE5 Premium as a standalone app subscription. Simply visit our StarHub TV+ Store at www.starhubtvplus.com/store via a desktop web browser and log in with your Hub iD.


Note: StarHub TV+ Store is currently not supported on mobile browsers.

How much do I have to pay for a ZEE5 Premium subscription? 

ZEE5 Premium is available at $8.98/month with viewing of up to 1080p (full HD) resolution on supported devices.


If you’re an existing StarHub TV customer, you can simply upgrade to StarHub TV+ with Indian+ Pass or add Indian+ Pass to your existing StarHub TV+ subscription to enjoy complimentary access to ZEE5 Premium.

Is there any special offer if I subscribe to ZEE5 Premium via StarHub?

Currently, there’s no special offer. However, you can enjoy the convenience of paying for your subscription via your StarHub bill.

How do I terminate my ZEE5 Premium subscription with StarHub?

You have full control and can terminate your ZEE5 Premium subscription anytime. To cancel, log in to My Account > Internet TV. Termination is immediate and the monthly charge will be pro-rated accordingly.

Will there be any early termination charges if I decide to cancel my ZEE5 Premium subscription?

There are no termination fees for ZEE5 Premium. You have full control to choose how long you want to enjoy your ZEE5 Premium subscription.

What will happen to my ZEE5 Premium subscription if I suspend, terminate, or transfer my StarHub Broadband or Postpaid Mobile service?

Your ZEE5 Premium subscription will continue, and you’ll still receive a bill from StarHub regardless of the status of your StarHub Broadband or Postpaid Mobile service.

  • Selected Samsung Smart TV models from 2016 onwards (Tizen 4.0 and above)
  • Selected LG Smart TV models (webOS 3.5 and above)
  • Selected Android TV models (Android TV 7.0 and above)
  • Apple TV (tvOS 10 and above)

How do I access ZEE5 on the StarHub TV+ Box or StarHub TV+ Pro?

First, you’ll need to activate your ZEE5 Premium complimentary access using your Hub iD on the microsite.


Thereafter, you can access the ZEE5 app on the StarHub TV+ Box or StarHub TV+ Pro by following the steps here.

Can I stream on ZEE5 on multiple devices at the same time?

As a ZEE5 Premium subscriber, you can stream on up to 3 devices at the same time.

Can I download movies and shows with ZEE5 Premium?

Yes, you can download movies and shows on your Android or iOS devices. Simply look for the dl icon icon below the content details and click to download. After your download is complete, you can access your downloaded content anytime by going to Menu > Watchlist > Offline.


Note: If you do not find the download icon, it’s likely that the content might be subjected to copyright restrictions, and you will not be able to download that video.

Will mobile data charges apply when I stream on ZEE5?

Do note that any mobile data used while streaming on ZEE5 will be deducted from your data allowance bundle. A friendly tip: Use your home Wi-Fi to stream to avoid data bill shock, or you can download your favourite shows onto your mobile devices to watch on-the-go without internet connection.

Is there restricted content for ZEE5 Premium?

Yes, there are selected content on ZEE5 with the following content classifications:

  • General - Suitable for all ages.
  • Parental Guidance (PG) - Suitable for all, but parents should guide their young.
  • Parental Guidance 13 (PG13) - Suitable for persons aged 13 and above but parental guidance is advised for children below 13.
  • No Children Under 16 (NC16) - Suitable for persons aged 16 and above.
  • Mature 18 (M18) - Suitable for persons aged 18 and above.

Restricted 21 (R21) - Restricted to persons aged 21 and above.

As a parent, how can I ensure that it is safe for my kids to stream on ZEE5?

You can set up a Parental Controls Lock with a 4-digit PIN so that children cannot view the restricted content without your permission. For more information, please click here.

Is Chromecast supported on the ZEE5 app?

Yes, Chromecast is supported on the ZEE5 app. Simply connect the ZEE5 app and your Chromecast device to the same Wi-Fi network and tap the Cast icon on the top right corner of the video.

Can I use ZEE5 outside of Singapore?

You'll be able to stream ZEE5 content only within Singapore.

How do I see content in other languages?

To see what content is available in different languages (e.g. Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, etc.), please refer to the screenshots below.


Once your preferences are saved, the content lineup will be updated to reflect programmes and movies in your selected languages.
