You can choose to add on 10GB for $10 and 50GB for $20 to your Mobile+ and new 4G mobile plan easily via My StarHub App. Customise your mobile plan whenever you need more, no activation charges or termination fees.


The data will be added to your plan instantly and the charges will be reflected in your upcoming bill. You’ll be able to enjoy the full 10GB or 50GB regardless when you sign up for the data add-on.

Definitely! You can choose to subscribe to 10GB for $10 and also subscribe to 50GB for $20.

Note that you can only subscribe to each add-on once (for instance, you can't get two 10GB for $10).

Are the older data add-ons applicable to my Mobile+ or new 4G mobile plans?

As part of our ongoing efforts to simplify and streamline our service offerings, older data add-ons are not applicable to the Mobile+ or new 4G mobile plans.

Are the 10GB for $10 and 50GB for $20 available with the older mobile plans?

10GB for $10 and 50GB for $20 data add-ons are customised for the Mobile+ and new 4G mobile plans, hence they are not applicable to the older plans.

As a reminder, any data that is consumed outside of your mobile plan or data bundle will be charged to you at our prevailing rates. You may also refer to our Terms and Condition for mobile services to learn more.

How do I cancel data add-ons/value-added services?

You can cancel your add-ons via My StarHub App. Simply follow these steps:

• Log in

• Tap "Mobile"

• Choose the mobile number then go to "Add-ons"

• Look for "Data upsize" and tap the "Manage" button

• Tap "Unsubscribe" to remove the data add-on

• Review your changes and confirm

You will receive a notification from us whenever you unsubscribe from our value-added service. To ensure that you are not missing any system messages and account notifications, do keep your primary mobile number and email updated.

I have signed up for the 50GB with worry-free data add-on, can I purchase another data add-on?

Our 50GB with worry-free data add-on gives you endless data, at no excess data charges. Plus, it can be used together with your existing free 10GB and FREE weekend data promotion. You'll never need another data add-on!


I signed up for the 50GB worry-free data in the middle of my billing period, how much data do I get?

You’ll be able to enjoy the full 50GB, no matter which day you sign up. Your data will not be prorated and will be refreshed at the start of each new billing period.


I am currently on XS/S/M/L/XL plan, can I sign up for 50GB with worry-free data on?

Your surfing speed is managed to ensure the activities of some users do not compromise the quality and data experience of most of our customers.  But not to worry, at 1Mbps, you are still able to stream music and standard videos and use your apps. 4G speeds will automatically resume at the start of the next billing cycle.


Can I roll over unused data to the next billing period?

Our 50GB with worry-free data add-on gives you endless data every month. You will never pay for excess data charges or run out of data. Plus it can be used together with your free 10GB and FREE weekend data promotion.

What is 1GB for 3-day?

1GB for 3-day is a one-time data add-on for those days when you need that extra boost to stay top of your data game. that. With no activation fee and hassle-free sign-up, you can add data anytime you need. 1GB will be added instantly to your plan and $3 will be reflected in your next bill. The 1GB will be valid for 3 days (72 hours) or until the last day of your bill cycle, whichever is earlier. The data won’t be pro-rated , meaning you enjoy the full 1GB entitlement regardless of which day you sign up. Activate it via My Account.

Upon successful activation, $6 will be reflected in your monthly bill and you can enjoy free 10GB local data between Saturday 00:00 and Sunday 23:59 (Singapore Time). Why is there a Fair Usage Policy for Unlimited Chat, Social and Video add-ons?

We have fair usage policies in place to ensure that the activities of some users do not impact other customers to have access to reliable services. If the data usage on the Unlimited Chat, Social and Video add-ons exceed beyond a threshold at any time during the monthly bill cycle, we may impose a speed limit of 1Mbps and you can continue to enjoy the supported apps without any local data charges. Any speed limit imposed will be lifted at the start of your next bill cycle.

Is there any access under the apps which will not be covered under free local data usage?

The following are excluded from Unlimited Chat, Social and Video and are chargeable. It will be deducted from your local data bundle:

Unlimited Video - Unlimited data does not cover usages for 3rd party advertisements within the app and access of external links outside of the mentioned app.

I am a Lite plan customer, why am I not eligible for Plus 3?

The Lite plan is catered for customers with low data usages. As such, we would recommend customers to re-evaluate their usage patterns and choose a more appropriate plan to fit their mobile needs.

Who is eligible for DataJump?

Any new, recontracting or existing StarHub Mobile postpaid customer on eligible mobile plans will be able to sign up for DataJump.

Which plans are eligible for DataJump?

The mobile plans which are eligible to sign up for DataJump are 2 year S/M/L/XL plans, 2 year 4G 4/5/6/12 plans, SIM Only S/M/L/XL plans and SIM Only 4G 4/5/6/12 plans. DataJump is not valid for Lite, XS, 4G 300M, 4G 3, SurfHub, HomeHub Go SurfHub 15 (and Add-on), HomeHub Go (and Add-on), SharePlus Child and any plans offered specifically to Business customers.

How much data will I be adding to my plan with DataJump?

DataJump increases your data bundle based on your current price plan for a monthly fee of $10.00 and one-time charge of $10.70.
If you are on S or 4G 4 plan with DataJump (5GB), your data bundle will increase by 5GB, bringing your total data bundle to 9GB.
If you are on M or 4G 5 plan with DataJump (10GB), your data bundle will increase by 10GB, bringing your total data bundle to 15GB.
If you are on L or 4G 6 plan with DataJump (15GB), your data bundle will increase by 15GB, bringing your total data bundle to 23GB for L plan subscribers or 21GB for 4G 6 plan subscribers. 
If you are on XL or 4G 12 plan with DataJump (20GB), your data bundle will increase by 20GB, bringing your total data bundle to 35GB for XL plan subscribers or 32GB for 4G 12 plan subscribers.

How can I add DataJump to my plan?

You can add DataJump via My StarHub App.

Log in, tap on the Mobile icon (that's near the upper left side), select the mobile number that you want to add data on, then tap on Add-ons.

Choose Data upsize and tap the Explore button. Tap the Get started button and check out the data upsize offers.

I am an existing customer with a Data Upsize VAS / Plus 3, am I able to sign up for DataJump?

Yes. However, you will need to terminate your existing Data Upsize VAS / Plus 3 first before you can sign up for DataJump. Please note that any existing discounts that you enjoy for your Data Upsize VAS or Plus 3 will also be terminated when you terminate your existing Data Upsize VAS or Plus 3.

The XS plan has the option to upsize their data by 3GB with Plus 3. If you would like to sign up for DataJump, you may consider upgrading your plan to S/M/L/XL, followed by signing up for Jump for a larger data bundle.

What happens to my DataJump add-on if I upgrade my plan from a S plan to a M plan?

Your DataJump (5GB) on S plan will need to be removed. You will then need to subscribe to DataJump (10GB) when you have changed your plan to M Plan.

Is there a contract period for DataJump?

For a limited promotional period, DataJump will be offered without any contract commitment.

Can I unsubscribe to DataJump?

For a limited promotional period, DataJump will be offered without any contract commitment, and can be unsubscribed.

Why is there is a OTC for DataJump?

All our value-added services do come with a one-time activation charge. We have been waiving this one-time activation from time-to-time on a promotional basis. The waiver does not apply to DataJump at this point.

If I transfer ownership of my mobile, what will happen to my DataJump?

Once you transfer ownership of your mobile, any plan or promotion such as DataJump will be discontinued.

What is DataShare?

DataShare is a Value-Added Service (VAS) that is designed for customers to share their local data with their loved ones. Customers will need to make two simple decisions - who they want to share their data with, and how much they want to share – it’s that easy!

Why do I need DataShare?

DataShare will allow customers to share local data among members within the same billing account. As usages differ across individuals, having the option to share data with other family members allow you to optimize your data usage and gain greater cost savings.

What is the price of DataShare?

DataShare is currently offered at a promotional price of $2.14/month (with GST) per subscription (U.P. $10.70). Only the donor will be charged the $2.14/month (with GST), beneficiary is not charged. The monthly recurring charge is fixed regardless of the number of mobile lines you share local data with.

For instance, you will be charged $2.14/month even when you share data with 1 or more family members. a donor with 3 beneficiaries will be charged the same monthly recurring charge as a donor with 1 beneficiary.


NOTE:

  • This promotional price will be valid till further notice. Charges for DataShare are non-pro-rated.

Is there a contract period for DataShare? If I terminate this Value-Added Service, will I be faced with any penalty charges?

There is no minimum contract period and no penalty charge for terminating DataShare.

Who can I share my local data with?

You can share your local data with other data bundled voice plans in the same billing account. Mobile lines that are eligible for data sharing will be displayed in My StarHub App DataShare setup page (My Account > Share local data).

You can share your local data with all eligible mobile lines in the same billing account.

Consumer postpaid mobile customers subscribing to the below eligible plans and have at least 2GB data entitlement are eligible for DataShare.

Eligible plans are: Lite Plan/ XS/S/M/L/XL Plans/ 4G Plans/ SurfHub Plans/ HomeHub Go Mobile plans/ HomeHub Go SurfHub 15 plans/ SmartSurf plans/ SmartSurf HD plans. Customers enjoying the Youth Perks are also eligible for DataShare.

DataShare is not available on the #hellochange mobile plans.

I have SharePlus Child lines, can these lines be beneficiaries?

Yes, you can allocate data to your SharePlus child line(s). As a SharePlus child, they will utilize the allocated data first, before utilizing the data from SharePlus parent line.

I have just transferred my mobile lines to the same billing account in order to start sharing. When can I start using DataShare?

Transferring of mobile lines to the same billing account will take effect 1 hour from the time you set up your transfer instructions.

Is there a minimum/ maximum amount of local data that can be shared?

Yes, the minimum unit of local data sharing is 1GB, and the maximum unit is 12GB per donor. To ensure that the donor will still have data for use, 1GB of data is automatically retained.
For example, if you are on a S plan which has 4GB plan data, the maximum you can share is 3GB.

I have a Plus 3 Data Upsize/ Data Upsize (1GB/2GB/3GB)/ DataJump (5GB/10GB/15GB/20GB) on my mobile plan, can this be shared?

Yes, you will be able to share your Data Upsize bundle. Customers on Youth Perks (FREE 3GB) are also eligible for DataShare.

For example, if you are on a L plan with DataJump VAS upsize (15GB) your total data entitlement is 23GB (8GB + 15GB) and you will be able to share a maximum of 12GB data.

Do I have to set up my data sharing settings every month?

No. Once you have set up DataShare, your sharing settings will recur unless otherwise modified or deleted. Modification and deletion of data sharing settings may be performed via My StarHub App OR My Account.

Any new/ modification of sharing settings will take place from your next billing cycle. This is subjected to both donor and beneficiary mobile lines being active.

Can I be both a donor and a beneficiary at the same time?

No, you can only be EITHER a donor or a beneficiary of DataShare, but not both at the same time. This is to ensure that the data that you receive from a donor is not being shared to another beneficiary.

What is the sequence of data usage for DataShare?

Data will be utilized in the following sequence: Data received from DataShare, Data Upsize VAS, and Plan data.

I am a new DataShare subscriber. Where and how can I activate DataShare?

You may proceed to:

My StarHub App:

    • Select [My account] at the bottom of the screen.
    • Click on [Share local data].
    • Select the billing account that you wish to activate DataShare and click [Next].
    • Select the mobile number that you wish to share data from, and click [Share data].
    • Click on the drop-down bar to select the mobile number that will be receiving data, and the desired amount of data to be shared. Click [Save] to proceed.
    • Review your sharing settings. Click [Done] to submit.
    • An SMS will be sent to your mobile number upon confirmation and changes will be effective from your next billing cycle.

My Account:

    • Select the billing account that you wish to activate DataShare and click [Share local data].
    • Select the mobile number that you wish to share data from, and click [Share data].
    • Click on [Add service] on the right side of the screen.
    • Click on the drop-down bar to select the mobile number that will be receiving data, and the desired amount of data to be shared. Click [Next] to proceed.
    • Review your sharing settings. Check both T&Cs boxes to proceed. Click [Confirm] to submit.

How do I transfer all my mobile lines to the same billing account to start using the DataShare VAS?

If your mobile lines belong to the same person/ NRIC but are in different billing accounts, you may proceed to do a mobile line transfer via My Account Manager. Please visit My Services page > Select your mobile line > Select ‘Transfer service to another billing account’ to transfer your mobile line(s).

If the mobile lines are under different people/ NRICs, please visit any StarHub Shop with both account holders present (along with your NRICs) to complete the transaction.

Will I be able to retain my existing mobile number after transferring over to StarHub to enjoy the DataShare VAS?

Yes, you will enjoy a free number porting service which allows you to retain the full use of your existing mobile number. For more details, visit

I want to change from being a donor to a beneficiary. How can I do this?

You will need to remove all beneficiary lines associated with the relevant donor line. DataShare will be removed once all beneficiary lines have been dropped. You can then proceed to be a beneficiary and receive data from your family member.

I do not see my mobile lines in My Account or My StarHub app. Why is this so?

As sharing can only occur between data bundled voice plans, note that data only plans (eg. MaxMobile) and selected voice plans will not appear. Eligible plans are: Lite Plan/ XS/S/M/L/XL Plans/ 4G Plans/ SIM Only Plans/ SurfHub Plans/ HomeHub Go Mobile plans/ HomeHub Go SurfHub 15/ HomeHub Go SurfHub 15 add-on/ SmartSurf plans/ SmartSurf HD plans. Customers on Youth Perks are also eligible for DataShare.
