If you have an existing KKBOX Premium or KKBOX HD Audio with KKBOX, you can activate the offer through My StarHub App once your existing subscription with KKBOX ends.

What will happen to my KKBOX Premium or KKBOX HD Audio subscription if my mobile number is suspended?

You will still be able to enjoy your KKBOX Premium or KKBOX HD Audio benefits until the next renewal cycle.


Example: Your mobile number is suspended on 5 Oct and the next renewal is on 5 Nov, you will be able to access your KKBOX Premium membership till 4 Nov. Thereafter, if your mobile number is still suspended, your KKBOX Premium membership will be terminated.

What is KKBOX?

KKBOX is a digital music streaming service that offers our Premium users more than 50 million music tracks to groove along, across over 30 music genres. The audio quality offering ranges from 128kbps to 320kbps. KKBOX also offers high-fidelity audio where subscribers could enjoy over 10 million music tracks in 16-bit FLAC quality. Both KKBOX Premium and KKBOX HD Audio are available with StarHub.

What is the difference between KKBOX Premium and KKBOX HD Audio?

Subscribers of KKBOX HD Audio Plan can access over 10 million music tracks in 16-bit FLAC quality and it will be growing indefinitely. In addition, KKBOX HD Audio Plan subscribers can also access the Premium music library with over 50 million music tracks available for streaming.

Are all songs available on KKBOX HD Audio? How would I know which songs are available on KKBOX HD Audio?

There are about 10 million tracks that are available in HiFi and these songs in high definition will have a “Hi-Fi” label next to it. The HiFi library will be growing continuously as we work to expand the library.

Can I use KKBOX on my desktop?

Yes, KKBOX is available for download on mobile phones and mobile tablets. Users can choose to log in from the following devices:

Does KKBOX have Karaoke function?

No, KKBOX is a music streaming service with no Karaoke function. However, the songs are accompanied with real-time rolling lyrics so you could sync (or sing) along with your favourite tracks!

If I subscribe KKBOX with StarHub, can I take part in KKBOX giveaways?

Yes, of course! KKBOX offers exclusive prize giveaways to our Premium users. Ranging from autographed albums to fan meets, and even flyaway to concerts overseas!

Can I download and export the songs / music files elsewhere?

No. All online / offline listening can only be done within KKBOX app.

Can I continue my music streaming service on KKBOX when I’m overseas?

If your KKBOX account is activated within the region of KKBOX service which includes Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and Hong Kong (including Macau), you will be able to access your music profile and go online enjoying endless music streaming all the same. However, if you’re travelling beyond, make sure that you go online once every 7 days to keep your account active!

Is Offline listening available?

Be sure to download all your favourite tunes before going outbound! The offline capacity is at a maximum count of 4,000 songs, depending on the mobile device’s storage capacity.

I forgot my password; how do I retrieve my password?

Please reset your password following these simple steps;

  • Go to KKBOX Forget Password
  • Enter your KKBOX account and choose [Submit]
  • If you have previously set a security question for your account, you can choose to either certify your identity through Email, or by answering the security question
* If you have not set the security question, a [KKBOX password reset] email will be sent to your account email address. Please note you will not be able to have the email sent to a different email address.

I’ve signed up directly with KKBOX before. Will I receive any refund if I terminate my membership with KKBOX?

Unfortunately, there will be no refund. You can continue to enjoy KKBOX Premium membership till the last day of your current billing period. You will not be charged for the subsequent month.
