What should I check before subscribing to business fibre broadband?

Before subscribing to business fibre broadband, it is important to:


- Ensure that your building is NGN-ready. You can check via this link.
- If you have a new office location, ensure that all renovations have been completed. If you require installations before completion of renovations, please take note that your business fibre broadband billing will begin upon completion of installation.
- Ensure that you need the services to installed on the requested date. Any request for delay in installation or order fulfilment may be subjected to one-time charges.

How much speed does my business require?

It depends on the number of users, devices or tasks that your company needs to perform. For example, if your business engages in online conferencing or frequently utilises cloud solutions, opt for a higher speed plan.

I want to sign up for a business broadband plan via the online store: What documents will I require?

If you are new to StarHub Business, please prepare the following documents in JPEG/PDF format before you begin your purchase on our online store.


1. NRIC of Owner / Director / Authorized Officer (front and back)
2. Company BizFile / ACRA Profile


For existing StarHub customers, you may log in with your Enterprise ID. If you do not have an Enterprise ID, register for one here.

When can I upgrade or recontract my broadband plan?

You may recontract within 3 months of your contract end date.


A downgrade is allowed only upon completion of your contract period. Early recontract fees or early termination charges will apply otherwise.

How fast can my business broadband be installed and ready for use?

The estimate is 14 working days after StarHub has accepted your application, subject to availability of network, service, resources, access, in-building cabling and tray, and the procurement of all relevant approvals.

Who can I contact for service issues?

What happens if I need to relocate during my contract period?

We charge a relocation fee of $856.00 (incl. GST) with recontract and $1,177 (incl. GST) without recontract. An estimated 14 working days will be required to set up the fibre services in your new office.

What are Non-Building Access Points (NBAP)? Can business fibre broadband be installed at such locations?

NBAP generally refers to site offices without an address (e.g. pop-up stores, annex buildings). Businesses can still subscribe to fibre broadband for such locations, with additional scope / charges required. You may read more about NBAP here.


For NBAP queries, please contact us separately instead of submitting an order through our online store.

Any other important things to take note of?

During your purchase, please ensure that the fibre broadband installation address provided is accurate. We will not be able to accept any change to the unit number after the order has been submitted. We will treat any request to change installation address or unit number as an order cancellation and prevailing cancellation charges shall apply.

When will my SmartUC Mobile be ready for use?

Within 5 working days of order submission via online store you will receive an SMS and email containing the credentials to set up your service. Information will also be sent to the Group Administrator's registered mobile number and email address provided during your purchase.


There is no setup/installation required for your office premises. Download the SmartUC Mobile app via App Store or Play Store.
