What is a Missed Call Alert service?

Missed Call Alert is a FREE SMS Notification service provided to all StarHub Mobile Postpaid customers that notifies them of missed calls when their mobile phone is turned off or is out of the StarHub network coverage.

The service also allows customers subscribed to International Roaming to receive SMS alerts for missed calls originating from Singapore when roaming overseas.

How does the Missed Call Alert service work? 

You will receive a missed call notification alert via SMS when a caller is unable to reach you either because your mobile phone is turned off or out of the StarHub network coverage.

When roaming overseas, you will receive SMS alerts for missed calls originating from Singapore when your mobile phone is turned off or out of the roaming operator’s network coverage.

When is StarHub discontinuing the Missed Call Alert service? 

We have discontinued the Missed Call Alert service on 31 January 2023.

Why is StarHub discontinuing the Missed Call Alert service? 

The discontinuation of the Missed Call Alert service is part of our ongoing efforts to continually review our product and service offerings to meet the changing needs of our customers.

How does the discontinuation of the Missed Call Alert service affect me?

The discontinuation of the service affects both local and roaming subscribers.

Upon the discontinuation of the Missed Call Alert service with effect from 31 January 2023, you will no longer receive any Missed Call Alert SMS notifications in the event that a caller is unable to reach you while your mobile phone is turned off or out of the StarHub network coverage.

Likewise, when roaming overseas, you will no longer receive SMS alerts for missed calls originating from Singapore.

This service was automatically removed from your mobile line, and no further action is required from you.
