What are the mobile plans that will be discontinued?

StarHub will be discontinuing the following mobile plans on 31 January 2023:

  • PowerValue: 3G PowerValue 80,100, 300, 700 and PowerTalk Ultimate
  • SmartSurf: 3G SmartSurf 100, 300, 700; SmartSurf Lite, Value, Elite, Premium
  • SmartSurf HD: SmartSurf HD Value, Premium, Plus

Why is StarHub discontinuing my existing mobile plan?

The discontinuation of your existing mobile plan is part of our ongoing efforts to streamline our products and services to take advantage of the latest mobile technology on newer, faster, and more advanced phones.

When is StarHub discontinuing my existing mobile plan?

You will still be able to use your existing mobile plan until 31 January 2023.


On 1 February 2023, we will be replacing your plan with the Biz+ Lite SIM Only No Contract, which comes with 200 minutes talktime, 50 SMS, and 3 GB of data at $30.56 per month.

Can I choose to continue my existing mobile plan by renewing it?

You will no longer be able to renew your existing mobile plan as it will be discontinued on 31 January 2023.

Can I only sign up for the recommended plan? Are there other mobile plans offered?

We have other mobile plans you can sign up for. You can visit our StarHub Business website at https://www.starhub.com/business.html to know the latest available mobile plan offers.

Can I still enjoy unlimited SMS with any of the new plans?

You can consider subscribing to Biz+ Pro that comes with unlimited SMS, with fair usage of 3,000 a month, at $262.82 per month.

What will happen after the last day of my existing plan if I choose not to sign up for any new plan?

On 1 February 2023, we will replace your plan with the Biz+ Lite SIM Only No Contract. This plan comes with 200 minutes talktime, 50 SMS, and 3 GB of data at $30.56 per month.


All Value-Added Services (except for MultiSIM) that you had subscribed to with your current mobile plans, such as FREE IDD 018, Caller Number Display, and others, will continue. As such, the current monthly recurring charges you are paying for these Value-Added Services, if there are any, will also continue as it is.


If you are subscribed to MultiSIM, please note that this Value-Added Service will be removed with this migration as it is not supported under our Biz+ plans.

I am currently subscribed to MultiSIM. What will happen to my SIM cards once my existing plan has been discontinued?

MultiSIM service will be removed once your existing plan has been discontinued and replaced with the new plan. Your main SIM card will continue to work as usual, while your additional SIM cards will lose service.


Please ensure that you’ve set your main SIM card to receive calls and SMS. To check which is your main SIM card for MultiSIM and to direct calls and SMS to your main SIM card, click .

Is there an alternative service to MultiSIM?

Can I terminate my existing mobile plan? Will I incur charges?

There will be no early termination charges since your mobile plan is already out of contract. You can submit your termination request at the Business Customer Portal at www.starhub.com/biz-feedback.
