Connect your business easily and cost-effectively
with an intelligent network service.
StarHub’s Switched Ethernet (SW-E) is an Intelligent Network service that gives your business the connectivity edge. SW-E Intelligent network Service provides seamless connectivity between Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) as well as access to the cloud though a single Internet Protocol (IP) connection.
Delivered over our robust Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) backbone, SW-E is IPv6-ready and comes with a 99.95% SLA-backed uptime guarantee.
Offering bandwidths of up to 1Gbps, this highly scalable service allows you to connect your offices, business sites, data centres and public cloud service providers. You can also consolidate your applications into a single network infrastructure and scale according to your business needs.
One connection, multiple services
Through a single converged IP-based network connection, SW-E delivers a multitude of services to support your business. With a wide range of scalable intranet (Virtual Private Network) or internet services delivered through Ethernet, you can now customize your requirements.
Secure Connectivity to Cloud Service Providers
Our new Value Added Service (VAS) - Cloud Connect leverages on MPLS technology to connect multiple sites to major cloud service providers on a single VPN. Enterprise customers will now be able to access seamlessly to their applications and data hosted in the cloud from their multiple offices.
StarHub Cloud Connect, customers have the flexibility to subscribe to a range of bandwidth that they may require, starting from 50M to 500M.
The connectivity is direct from customer private network to the major cloud service providers based on MPLS technology. By bypassing the public Internet with unpredictable congestion, it allows customers to experience reliable and secure service with low latencies.
Class of Service (CoS)
As an "application aware" network, SW-E is able to recognize and prioritize your applications, thereby supporting multiple class of service (CoS). Top priority is given to business critical data by the network class of service which assigns and deploys the appropriate speed and bandwidth.
Bandwidth Utilisation Portal
SW-E has an online iPortal that allows you to monitor the bandwidth utilisation of your network on a daily basis. With this you can scale your bandwidth as and when you need it.
