Cessation of TV DIVA, E! Entertainment, &TVHD and GoodTimes

1. Why is StarHub ceasing DIVA and E! Entertainment along with their respective catch-up channels, EEva’s Learning Channel HD, &TVHD, and GoodTimes?

We have been notified by the content provider that they will be discontinuing DIVA and E! Entertainment and their respective catch-up channels and EEva’s Learning Channel HD across SEA, including Singapore, for all operators on 31 December 2019, 12pm.

As part of our on-going efforts to streamline our TV offerings, &TVHD and GoodTimes will also be ceased on 31 December 2019, 12pm.

2. What are the channels affected?

The affected channels are DIVA (Ch 513), E! Entertainment (Ch 441), EEva’s Learning Channel HD (Ch 325), &TVHD (Ch 165), and GoodTimes (Ch 161).

4. What is the last programme for DIVA, E! Entertainment, &TVHD and GoodTimes?

  • The last programme on DIVA (Ch 513) is Ellen’s Game of Games S1 Ep 1.
  • The last programme on E! Entertainment (Ch 441) is Very Cavallari S3 – Holiday Special Ep 100.
  • The last programme on &TVHD (Ch 165) is Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain!
  • The last programme is CHAKH LE INDIA-KACHA RASTA.

5. As an existing subscriber, how will I be impacted?

You can continue to watch these channels until 31 December 2019, 12pm.  Thereafter, the channels will cease transmission and automatically be removed from your subscription.

6. Will StarHub be reducing the price to my subscription?

  • For all affected customers on Entertainment Package (DIVA), NDTV 24/7 (GoodTimes) and hotel customers who are subscribed to ala-carte channel: DIVA (Ch 513), E! Entertainment (Ch 441) and &TVHD (Ch 165), there will be no change to the price of your subscription.
  • For all affected customers except for hotels customers who are subscribed to DIVA (Ch 513), E! Entertainment (Ch 441) and &TVHD (Ch 165), billing of subscription charges will cease from 31 December 2019. We will refund you any pro-rated amount that was paid in advance to your account in your next bill 

7. Will there be any replacement for these channels?

  • There will not be any replacement for customers who are subscribed to Entertainment Package, NDTV 24/7 and all customers except for hotels customers who are subscribed to ala-carte channel: DIVA (Ch 513), E! Entertainment (Ch 441) and &TVHD (Ch 165).
  • For hotels customers who are subscribed to ala-carte channel: DIVA (Ch 513), E! Entertainment (Ch 441) and &TVHD (Ch 165), the respective account managers will be reaching out to the affected customers for channel replacement.
