New Customers Just Dial 1800-CALL IDD To Register And Activate IDD Services Within One Day
Singapore, 9 April 2001 -- StarHub's 1st anniversary celebrations continue to bring more surprises for its customers! StarHub is rewarding customers with savings of over S$1.5 million in their international call bills when they use IDD 008. Also, keeping its pledge to add value for its customers, StarHub is promising a 24-hour turnaround registration time for new international calling services’ customers. For those who have never used StarHub's international calling services before or want to add new IDD lines to existing accounts, can call in now, register and use IDD 008 or 018 within one day!
As part of StarHub's 1st anniversary celebrations last month, the company offered a special rate for its IDD 008 service to five popular destinations - Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, UK and the USA. Customers using IDD 008 to call any of these five countries paid only $0.08 per minute all-day, when calls were made between 24 March to 8 April 2001. To ensure that new international calling services customers do not miss StarHub’s 1st anniversary celebratory offer and due to popular demand, StarHub is extending the same five country IDD 008 promotion at $0.08 per minute all-day! The promotion will run from 9th to 30th April 2001.

Starting 9th April, to register for StarHub's international calling services and use IDD 008 or 018 the very next day, new customers (except business customers) should call this 24-hour priority hotline 1800 - CALL IDD (1800-2255-433). New business customers are invited to call the StarHub Business Hotline 1800-825 8888. They can have their service activated within 3 - 5 working days (upon receipt of all necessary documents).

The savings range from 75% to 91%. In addition, the promotion is also extended to StarHub’s Green (pre-paid) mobile customers, StarHub payphone users, StarHub 1635 operator-assisted service customers, and StarHub HomeConnect pre-paid calling card users. However, it excludes SingTel and M1 pre-paid mobile customers.
