Singapore, 8 September 2010 – Movie enthusiasts will be elated to know that they will soon have three new movie services to tune in to when watching movies on StarHub TV! FOX International Channels (FIC) and StarHub TV will launch a new STAR Movies Pack starting 16 September 2010 that will include STAR Movies, FOX Family Movies, STAR Movies HD and STAR Movies On Demand.
FOX Family Movies (StarHub TV Channel 624) will be available for free viewing to all StarHub TV subscribers from 16 September 2010 (6am) till 13 October 2010. FOX Family Movies debuts in Singapore as a dedicated movie channel providing wholesome family entertainment. FOX Family Movies will showcase a variety of family movies from the world’s leading studios such as 20th Century FOX and The Walt Disney Studios, with a movie premiere every Sunday. Some of the premieres include ‘G-Force’, ‘Bedtime Stories’, ‘Step Up 2’ and ‘102 Dalmatians’, with a line-up that boasts major blockbusters such as ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ and ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’.
STAR Movies On Demand (StarHub TV Channel 623) offers movie buffs an option of watching their favourite Hollywood movies at any time they want. There will be 30 movies up for viewing at any one time on this service[1], with new titles available each month. Some titles include ‘Transporter 3’, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ and ‘Twilight’.
STAR Movies HD (StarHub TV Channel 662) is a simulcast of the popular STAR Movies, offering the best of Hollywood in high definition. Customers will need either the HubStation HD or HD Interactive box to enjoy this channel.

STAR Movies Pack is priced at $17.12 (including GST) a month. StarHub TV customers who wish to subscribe to STAR Movies Pack will be able to enjoy 50 percent off the first three months of this Pack’s subscription fees. Existing STAR Movies customers who wish to upgrade to the Pack will need to pay just $2.14 (including GST) monthly for the next three months, thereafter at only $4.28 (including GST) monthly on top of their current STAR Movies subscription of $12.84 (including GST).
