Covers repair or replacement for laptops, tablets, monitors and more against failures

Singapore, 14 December 2022 – StarHub today announced the launch of SmartSupport Home, a comprehensive tech care product for StarHub Mobile and Broadband customers.  With a single subscription, customers who own multiple gadgets enjoy protection for new and existing home devices, including Smart TVs, laptops, tablets, monitors, soundbars and more. Without having to rely on traditional extended warranties tagged to only one device, customers can enjoy comprehensive coverage on their home devices with SmartSupport Home, which offers repairs and replacements for most device brands, purchased in Singapore from any retailer. In addition, customers also gain access to a Security Advisor™ service, which allows them to safeguard their online identity from hackers and data thieves by scanning for and detecting leaked personal information online.

Customers can sign up for SmartSupport Home at $19.99 monthly, and register an unlimited number of eligible home devices that they own, covering these devices for mechanical or electrical breakdowns. Devices bought after signing up can be covered under SmartSupport Home at no extra cost. Subscribers will also have access to a free Tech Support to assist with setting up devices or troubleshooting. SmartSupport Home is contract free, and does not cover devices with pre-existing conditions prior to subscription.

Submission of claims through SmartSupport Home is hassle-free, with doorstep device pick-up and delivery. Depending on the condition of the device, repairs may take between 5-7 business days Customers will be able to submit claims 30 days after signing up to Smart Support Home. To do so, they can contact the service partner Asurion directly via a dedicated digital portal made available upon subscription.
