UEFA EURO 2020 is back on a bigger stage than ever before after a year’s break due to the pandemic. For the first time since its inception, the UEFA EURO 2020 will be held across the continent, with matches being hosted in 12 cities. With StarHub, football fans can catch this exciting tournament through the screens of their preference, from their phones over Singapore’s fastest mobile network to their computers and TVs on ultra-fast fibre broadband services.

“Football fans have been steeped in anticipation for this event, and we are always excited to deliver content that our customers love and look forward to,” said Johan Buse, Chief, Consumer Business Group, StarHub. “We are excited to bring UEFA EURO 2020 right into the palms of our customers, allowing them to travel without travelling and be immersed completely in thrilling live football action. Featuring top European teams, the UEFA EURO 2020 is in its 16th edition this year, and 2016 defending champions Portugal is set to confront pent-up competition that has brewed over the past five years. With 15 out of 16 previous champions all qualifying into the group stage, and Belgium and Italy both recording flawless qualifying campaigns to challenge the crown, this year’s competition will be especially intense. ‘Live’ coverage will begin on 12 June 2021 at 3am, with Turkey and Italy going head-on in the first Group A match.

Matches will be broadcast through the official LIVENow app, which customers can easily cast onto TV screens. Through the app, customers can access match replays and highlights via on demand content, a feature that football fans will certainly enjoy, and is not typically offered through broadcast channels. The app will be available for download on iOS and Android phones, certain Smart TVs and through StarHub TV+ box.
