Hello 20,000 hours of fresh content every month only on StarHub Entertainment

Singapore, 9 March 2020 – Fresh off the launch of Singapore’s first dedicated tennis channel, beIN SPORTS 2, StarHub is continuing the momentum by being the first to debut three brand new Indonesian channels in Singapore – Citra Entertainment, Karisma and Pawagam Indonesia. Going live on 12 March 2020, 9am, all existing Malay Entertainment Pass and Idaman Pack customers will have access to these three premium channels, in high-definition, at no additional cost.

Citra Entertainment, Karisma and Pawagam Indonesia join recently launched beIN SPORTS 2, NBA TV and Kalaignar TV in a line-up of over 40 unique channels only available on StarHub. With 200 world-class channels and leading content partners, StarHub customers can enjoy non-stop supply of the best entertainment programmes around the globe. Subscription to a StarHub Entertainment Pass also comes with the unrivalled flexibility to switch between passes, customers subscribed to other passes can simply switch to the Malay Entertainment Pass to have a taste of the exceptional array of Malay and Indonesian titles available.

The three channels are specially curated and belong to the Indonesia Entertainment Group (IEG), a leading Indonesian content provider with proven success of releasing top Indonesian programming and channels. IEG is also part of the Surya Citra Media Group, home to SCTV and Indosiar, the two consistently highest rated TV channels in Indonesia.

Channel Information

Citra Entertainment is an Indonesian general entertainment channel featuring drama series, reality programmes, variety, music shows and more. Enjoying top ratings in Indonesia, the channel will have 50 hours of fresh content added every month. One programme to look out for is Golden Memories 1, the first ever music talent contest in Indonesia, in search of the contestant who can belt out the best rendition of classic songs.

Karisma will be making its world debut on StarHub Entertainment; the channel is home to top-rated and specially curated dramas and telemovies, with six hours of new content every day. Featuring popular titles like Love In Paris and Pangeran, Karisma is bound to be popular among Indonesian entertainment fanatics.

Pawagam Indonesia is a dedicated subscription video on demand (SVOD) channel for Indonesia telemovies; the channel boasts a catalogue of over 100 titles at any one point. With no fixed schedule of broadcast, customers have the freedom to watch at their own time and pace, selecting their favourite titles from the multiple genres available. Customers can also look forward to movies starring famous actors like Dude Harlino, Natasha Wilona, Alyssa Soebandono, Verrel Bramasta and many more.

Pricing and packaging

New customers can sign up for the Malay Entertainment Pass at $29.90 per month with 24-month contract. The pass includes 16 Malay, Indonesian and Korean channels and StarHub Go subscription, allowing customers to watch on the go, anytime, anywhere. Existing StarHub Entertainment customers can also purchase an additional entertainment pass at $17.90 per month.

Customers with three basic groups subscription can simply add on the Idaman Pack for $19.90 per month, with a 12-month contract.

Golden Memories 1 (Available on Citra Entertainment, Monday to Sunday, 11:15pm)

Contestants perform oldies tunes, evoking feelings of nostalgia which bring viewers on a journey back in time. Golden Memories 1 is the first ever talent search in Indonesia looking to crown the king or queen of classics.

Love In Paris (Available on Karisma, Monday to Sunday, 9:40pm)
