Singapore, 10 March 2016 – Come 16 March, Filipinos living in Singapore will have more exciting entertainment options with the launch of three new Filipino channels on StarHub TV. They are GMA Pinoy TV (StarHub TV Channel 146), GMA Life TV (StarHub TV Channel 147) and GMA On Demand (StarHub TV Channel 149). Content presented on these channels will be in a mix of Tagalog and English, with English subtitles offered in selected programming. Bundled into two new Packs—GMA Pack and Ultimate Pinoy Pack—customers can subscribe to either Pack to enjoy these three channels.

GMA Pinoy TV (StarHub TV Channel 146)

GMA Pinoy TV, the flagship international channel of GMA network in the Philippines, offers the best in Filipino entertainment and news. With its line-up of top-rated soap operas, thought-provoking talk shows, thrilling reality and variety programmes, as well as credible news reporting, Filipinos in Singapore will be kept up-to-date with what is happening back home. To enable viewers to enjoy the channel on the go, GMA Pinoy TV will be made available on StarHub Go, StarHub’s online streaming service delivered over-the-top, and on any smart device. Key titles at launch include Eat Bulaga, where audiences can expect top-notch entertainment from the longest-running noontime show in the country; and Sunday Pinasaya, a unique production that features the hottest celebrities, side-splitting comedy sketches and fun-filled games.

GMA Life TV (StarHub TV Channel 147)

Viewers seeking light-hearted entertainment will welcome GMA Life TV. The channel celebrates the warmth of Filipino lifestyle through a vibrant mix of heartwarming movies, well-loved soap operas, delightful cookery shows and laugh-a-minute comedy programmes. At launch, viewers can tune in to programme highlights such as Taste Buddies, which serves up new experiences every week through mouth-watering food features and explorations on the different facets of modern Filipino living; and Mars, a talk show that offers fresh, fun and intelligent topics for mothers, hosted by celebrity moms Suzi Entrata-Abrera and Camille Prats.

GMA On Demand (StarHub TV Channel 149)

GMA On Demand will enable viewers to watch their favourite GMA programming to their hearts’ content, with the channel offering about 16 hours of fresh content monthly, and up to 100 hours of exciting content from September. GMA On Demand will also be accessible on StarHub Go, making it the best companion for audiences who enjoy viewing at their convenience, wherever they may be. Key programmes include Bubble Gang, Philippines’ longest-running gag show, and Because of You, a romantic drama about finding the special someone across all boundaries.
