This encapsulated the theme of this year’s awards – A Walk Down Memory Lane, and brought the audiences down in incessant laughter. Prior to the awards presentation, the TVB artistes, dressed in their finest gala outfits, strode down the red carpet which was held at Skating Rink at The Shoppes to the delight of hundreds of screaming fans.

“Congratulations to all the winners who have set the bar higher year on year! The StarHub TVB Awards, a night of triumph and recognition for the celebrated stars, is a culmination of months of planning and consultation between StarHub and TVB. More importantly, it signifies the exceptional friendship between the two companies,” expressed Mr Lau.

“The awards ceremony this year features many firsts. It is the first time that the artistes were given free rein to speak in Mandarin or Cantonese, allowing the artistes to better express themselves. It marks the first time we are bestowing the commemorative SG50: Star of the Stars Awards. It is also the first time that TVB joins us in celebrating Singapore’s 50th birthday. We are awed by TVB’s unconditional support in the events leading to StarHub TVB Awards 2015 and look forward to achieving more firsts together!” added Mr Lau.
