Singapore, 27 January 2010 – TV buffs will soon reap more fruits of a union between StarHub and FOX International Channels (FIC) come February! Starting 1 February, StarHub TV will launch three new channels under the FOX umbrella. The new additions are - FOX, tvN, and Nat Geo Music.  

These three channels will initially be made available free to all StarHub TV subscribers via its respective channels for a month, starting 1 February 2010. Additionally, the world’s leading 24-hour wildlife channel - Nat Geo Wild will be reoffered as part of StarHub’s Basic Education group, giving subscribers a more wholesome entertainment experience.

FOX (StarHub TV Channel 132) dominates the top ranking across Japan, Korea, the Middle East, US, Latin America, Spain and some other markets as the world’s Number 1 US TV series channel. FOX brings to viewers the most recent US TV first-runs in comedy, drama, science fiction, action, animation and reality.  Some of these US’ top-performing TV series to be premiered exclusively on FOX in the coming months include “Lie to Me”, “White Collar”, “The Simpsons”, “Burn Notice”, and “Criminal Minds”. FOX will be available under the Basic Entertainment Group.

tvN (StarHub TV Channel 175) is Korea’s leading general entertainment channel with its exclusive high-rated programming in self-produced dramas, entertainment, reality and lifestyle programs. Powered by CJ Media, the creator of some Korea’s best quality entertainment programming, StarHub viewers can get access to their favourite Korean superstars in tvN’s star-studded programs featuring Rain, Lee Jun Ki, Kwong Sang Woo, Song Hye Kyo, Park Eun Hye, Lee Hyo Ri and more.  Some hottest Korean hits available on tvN include “The Fighter”, “8 Days”, and “Love Rescue”.  tvN will be offered under the Chinese Entertainment Upsize group.

Nat Geo Music (StarHub TV Channel 131) is a unique channel profiling world musicians and their passion for music and world cultures.  The channel features seasoned artists, emerging talents and their famous anthems that bring a huge addition to the music scene.  Local issues and cultures will be showcased through music videos and programming that put songs into context. Nat Geo Music will be offered under the Education Upsize group.

Nat Geo Wild (StarHub TV Channel 77) enables viewers to get closer to the untamed corners of the natural world - from the remotest savannah and sweeping plains, to the forbidding ocean depths and deep jungles – Nat Geo Wild will be offered as part of the Education Basic Group
