24-hour Youth Olympic News Channel to be made available free to all viewers in Singapore via StarHub’s Preview Channel, Channel 01

Singapore, 13 November 2009 – StarHub today announced that it will broadcast multiple channels dedicated to simultaneous ‘live’ event coverage of the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games (YOG). The channels will be made available exclusively across its pay TV and mobile platforms. StarHub will also air a 24-hour Youth Olympic News Channel via its free Preview Channel, Channel 01, accessible by all viewers in Singapore, as well as offer ‘live’ and on-demand coverage of the games via its online platform.

StarHub Chief Operating Officer Tan Tong Hai reiterated StarHub’s commitment to deliver compelling content to its customers. The ‘live’ broadcast feeds, as well as the 24-hour Youth Olympic News Channel will be packaged by Olympic Broadcasting Services, the host broadcast subsidiary wholly owned by the International Olympic Council.
