Singapore, 12 April 2009 - StarHub is turning every Sunday into a Happy Sunday! From today until the end of the year, StarHub will be giving away many exciting treats to its mobile pre-paid customer base as it launched its new 'Happy Treats on every Sunday' programme.
To kick-start the programme, StarHub's management team, led by Chief Operating Officer, Mr Tan Tong Hai, got into the act of giving Happy Treats by handing out delicious Old Chang Kee curry puffs for free to long lines of StarHub's mobile pre-paid customers at Ngee Ann City today.
"Sunday is a special day of rest. To delight our mobile pre-paid customers and to show our appreciation for their support all these years, we will be giving away wonderful Happy Treats every Sunday for the rest of the year, turning every Sunday into Happy Sunday," said Mr Chan Kin Hung, StarHub's Head of Personal Solutions and Advanced Multimedia Services. "This Sunday, we are giving away curry puffs. By showing their StarHub mobile pre-paid SIM card at selected Old Chang Kee outlets, our customers will receive a delicious curry puff for free. As many of them are from overseas, we are happy to introduce a local delight - the curry puff - to them."
StarHub will be giving away 100,000 curry puffs at 25 selected Old Chang Kee outlets islandwide this month. Many other exciting Happy Treats are being lined up in the upcoming months - keep a watch out for them!
As of end-2008, StarHub had 874,000 customers on its pre-paid card.
