Singapore, 22 May 2008 – StarHub and SPE Networks – Asia today jointly announced the launch of AXN BEYOND on StarHub Digital Cable on 27 May 2008. A spin-off channel from leading English entertainment cable channel AXN, AXN BEYOND aims to provide a unique, "hair-raising" entertainment experience with an exciting programme line-up that will take viewers beyond the ordinary, beyond reality and beyond imagination!
AXN BEYOND (Channel 100) offers a mix of "out of the ordinary" content that includes popular genres such as sci-fi, mystery and fantasy, horror and suspense, paranormal and supernatural. Viewers can look forward to global hits such as the latest season of Golden Globe and Emmy award-winning Lost and Emmy-nominated Supernatural, mystery/fantasy series like Pushing Daisies, as well as classic favourites including The X-Files and Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
Other than the exciting line-up of top-rated shows from the US, movies and animation series are also in the pipeline, to bring a greater variety of entertainment choices for viewers.
To give viewers a chance to experience the quality programmes on the new channel, StarHub will offer a 6-day free preview of AXN BEYOND from 27 May, 6am to 1 June 2008. During this period, all StarHub Digital Cable customers using the HubStation, digital or High Definition set-top box can enjoy the programmes on AXN BEYOND via StarHub Digital Cable Channel 100.

This spin-off channel is a natural progression for AXN, which is also available on StarHub (Channel 19). AXN offers the best of action and adventure programming, including highly-rated drama series like the CSI franchise, Chuck and House, and exciting original reality productions like The Amazing Race Asia and The Contender Asia.
