Singapore, 16 December 2008 - Leading international magazine Euromoney has today named StarHub a winner of the Euromoney 'Best Managed and Governed Companies - Asia poll 2009'.

The poll is based on replies received from a total of 211 of the leading equity analysts at the largest investment banks and research houses in the Asia Pacific region. Analysts were asked to name which companies were the most impressive across a number of factors including; management accessibility, accounting transparency and corporate governance procedures amongst others. Analysts praised StarHub for its leading role in promoting transparent communication to investors, citing that "StarHub has continuously displayed a strong full service strategy, a strong restructuring story and a strong growth strategy". Analysts also noted that StarHub have received high recognition from their client and had shown the correct strategy on bundling for StarHub.

This is the 8th annual ranking of the Best Managed and Governed Companies in Asia that Euromoney has published and is seen as the benchmark survey of the opinions of equity analysts in the region. From the 4,384 nominations for 683 companies that we received, it is clear that senior management at the leading companies in Asia are very highly regarded.
