StarHub Mobile Customers To Get EPL Action Right In The Palm Of Their Hands

Singapore, 8 December 2004 - Watch a video clip of EPL action, get an MMS picture on an EPL goal scored or receive an SMS alert to an EPL match schedule - all with your mobile phone. From today, StarHub Mobile customers are able to fully immerse themselves in the EPL fever as StarHub launches its latest mobile value-added service - the Barclays English Premier League Season Package.

As the Official Singapore Mobile Service Partner of the Barclays English Premier League for the three seasons from 2004 to 2007, StarHub allows its customers to fully embrace the complete match action and all-round experience of soccer by delivering exclusive EPL video clips, MMS pictures, and SMS updates, enabling them to experience the emotion of every game with all the goals, action and highlights, during the game and immediately after, week after week.

The different types of EPL updates - on video, MMS and SMS - are available to support different types of mobile phones. Customers can access exclusive video clips including 'near-live' goals, footage of previews, highlights, and round-ups of the League action from both current matches and archives of previous seasons. In addition, they will also have access to exclusive MMS Goals Round-Up, complete with pictures and audio to enable them to feel the full magic of winning during the EPL matches. They will also be able to follow the progress of their favourite teams closely with SMS alerts. The SMS alerts will update them whenever a goal is scored, as well as news, schedules and fixtures.

StarHub CableTV currently airs up to 10 'live' matches weekly on ESPN and STAR Sports channels (Channels 23 and 24).
