Singapore, 3 August, 2004 - If you had taken a second look at your television screens yesterday and wondered if you had activated the "fast forward" function on your DVD or VHS player by accident, chances are, you did not.

What you saw was probably StarHub's latest television commercial (TVC) targeted at its Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) clients.  The TVC graced MediaCorp's Channel 8 and Channel NewsAsia yesterday.  Produced by StarHub's Business Markets, the television commercial is part of its Business Markets' latest brand campaign that was launched on 1 June earlier this year.

The TVC shows a protagonist named Mr Lee who represents a typical successful businessman who employs StarHub's suite of business services in his course of work.  In a series of a few quick-flash frames, Mr Lee zips effortlessly from one location to another without staying out of contact with his communication tools.  For example, Mr Lee is shown assessing the internet in his office via wireless business broadband in one frame and is "zipped" next to a cafe where he is seen checking his office emails via his *Blackberry in the following frame.  At every different location that Mr Lee goes, StarHub provides him with all the key business tools to enable him to run his business efficiently and seamlessly.

"We recognize and understand that each and every client of ours has a different set of requirements when it comes to operating their businesses", said Ms Yvonne Lee, Director of Marketing at StarHub's Business Markets. "The key message we wish to convey via our latest TVC is that our unique hubbing strengths and services allow us to be a one-stop-shop, offering our clients a suite of business solutions that can meet their every need", added Ms Lee.

In line with StarHub Business Markets' current brand campaign which positions StarHub's Business Solutions as the desired option - the better alternative to other similar services offered by its competitors, this TVC reaffirms how SMEs can choose just one company to provide them with a range of specially customised services to meet their exacting requirements.  Some of these services include Business Broadband, Wireless Pushmail through the BlackBerry, International Direct Dial (IDD) Global Connection and Mobile services with the BlackBerry.

The TVC is complemented by a series of engaging testimonial print advertisements which have been running across key major local newspapers like The Straits Times, Business Times and Lianhe Zaobao since 25 May 2004.  These advertisements showcase some of StarHub's successful partnerships with some of our reputable clients spanning the hospitality, media and entertainment industries such as Millennium & Copthorne International Ltd, CNBC and MTV.

Our clients have discovered that with StarHub, there is always a better way.
