Ex-IDA Assistant Chief Executive Dr Kaizad Heerjee Joins StarHub as Vice President of Corporate Business
Singapore, 10 February 2003 – StarHub, Singapore’s leading info-communications provider, announced the appointment of Dr Kaizad Heerjee as Vice President of Corporate Business with effect from 6 February 2003. Kaizad will report directly to Mr Mike Reynolds, Senior Vice President, Business Markets, StarHub.
Kaizad’s responsibilities include planning and directing StarHub’s corporate acquisition strategies for the commercial sector. He will also be entrusted with developing and growing StarHub’s customer base, through its wide range of business and industry solutions for multinational corporations (MNCs) and small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Kaizad was previously the Assistant Chief Executive of Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) for the past three years, where he was responsible for their Online Development and the Local Enterprise Internationalisation groups. In this capacity, he was responsible for providing the vision and strategy to help develop Singapore into a knowledge-based economy and society. In addition, as part of the strategy to build Singapore into an info-communications hub, Kaizad was also responsible for helping to groom globally competitive local IT enterprises, by assisting them to access key global markets.
Prior to joining IDA, Kaizad spent over 10 years with Digital Equipment and Compaq Computers in several senior management, sales & marketing, and technical positions across Europe, North America and Asia/Pacific.
Kaizad holds a Bachelors Honors Degree in Mathematics from India, a Masters Degree in Information Technology from the University of Nottingham (UK) and a PhD in Computer Science from the UK.
He is married and is the father of two sons, aged nine and six.
