StarHub's Green Pre-paid mobile customers first in Singapore to get Call Tones service today
Singapore, 14 August 2003 - StarHub, Singapore's leading info-communication provider offers yet another first by introducing Call Tones service today for its Green Pre-paid mobile customers. With immediate effect, they will be the first in Singapore to be able to express themselves with a choice of hundreds of fun calling (connecting) tones to surprise and delight their friends and contacts.
With Call Tones, customers have yet another innovative way to personalise their mobile phones by selecting a favourite song or fun expression as the calling tone. Instead of the standard dull calling (connecting) tone, imagine your friend's surprise and delight in hearing Britney Spears telling them "I'm A Slave 4 U"! Or if you prefer, a voice dripping with sarcasm confronting your friends for not calling earlier! So your friends will hear the selected song or expression and even enjoy it, until the call is connected.
Green Prepaid customers can enjoy this fun service at a one-time registration fee of $2. Upon registration, they will immediately receive the popular Sparky Call Tone for free. At any time, they can vary their preferred call tones by choosing from the extensive library of call tones for a mere $2 (each call tone has a usage period of 60 days). Customers will be spoilt for choice with hundreds of songs from various genres such as pop, rock, R&B, hip-hop, sentimental, retro, instrumental and many more, which also come in different languages. They can also choose fun expressions in the form of a greeting available in different moods or personalities.
